BMP-1 Can't zoom and un-zoom driver scope

I was driving the BMP-1 and I had to escape quickly but the scope was zoomed in and it won't let you zoom out while holding a driving key. 1 second delay to do that would have gotten me killed as well, along with the trying to drive to escape with zoomed depth perception.
