Whether in long range or CQC, there are many ways to use your weapon.

In CQC you can pre-fire every new angle as you slice the pie of a doorway, or hit windows long range to pin enemy.

At long range you can do the same to forests, bushes and other places enemy can peek from unseen.

Grazing fire is aimed height of a man, deepest bullet trajectory across the map through tree gaps or over desert berms, through jungle as deep as you can. Level terrain is ideal but for multi level and blockage obstacles for suppression grazing fire you lay down 1 bullet per square inch and reach around, over it.

Enemy is 360 degrees all around, if a bush is blocking your view, fire there. Check map, sweep and double sweep deep.

Probing fire will make enemy think you know where they are. Very similar to pre-fire, you are firing into areas enemy could be moving concealed behind, same concept and method of reaching with grazing fire, deep bullet trajectory. Make them get close to being shot without seeing them. 1 man per piece of cover, multiple directions.
