Hi,

Can you take the MEC team a M16A1 please, this would be great.

Because the MEC team got only two different Weapon´s for the Standard Kits, the AK101 and the G3.




I´d like to have new and more different Weapons for all the Teams.


And please make the request Time for the Kits shorter.

too me this would make no sense at all, the m16a1 was used in vietnam and i know the VC and NVA captured many fo these weapons but how would they even get over to the MEC part of the world, and even if they did im sure they would not be in great numbers.

Kill your enemy, press G, you just stole his M16A1, you are a MEC with a M16A1

The Yanks in PR carry A2s Raniak, therefore that cant be done.

A1s are used the world over due to the fact that the USA do not mind selling off their older weapons, makes sense to me, plus, if an MEC soldier manages to kill an american, he can then have his ammo (if it were real life of course, i understand that the game engine does not support such an act) so it seems quite reasonable to me.

The enemys got the M16A2...

I would like to say with this Thread, that i like to have more different Weapons! That would be nice

yeah, but since this is in the future you could make up reasons to have more weapons.
The problem as I understand it is the modelling which is hard to do and time consuming and so adding new weapons is not as easy as point and click.

I would like to see more request kits for the weapon variation with some equipment penalty for choosing an exotic, non standard weapon, like you get less ammo or no frags ...etc.

MEC is a professional Army, not an insurgency, thus M16A1s would make no sense. G3s all the way for a HK Faction.

So will they get the MG3 as the support-weapon?

those are two totally different rifles
the lmg version of the g3 is the hk21

I lvoe the M16A1, its my favorite of the M16s because of the look of it, but it would be a lott of work to put it in, unless Pr gets it from EOD, wich they would have 1 made seeing they are a vietnam mod. Still i think weapon wise we are good right now, im not saying new weapons would not be great, but if you want an m16 you take 1 off the dead US soldier.

Then again, the m16a1 was auto and semi auto, no 3 round burst, so it might be good idea to put it in.

No mater what it will be alot of work to put a new weapon ingame.

you are not aloowed to take content from previous battlefield games, and even if you were it be alot beter if the devs made their own because it would be of much beter quality.

New Marksman weapon for MEC? Leaving the SVD to the insurgents? I would love it. And it would make alot of sense if MEC is going with G3s all the way...

No, I think he means if we ever get "heavy support" kits, with stuff like M240s for US and L7 GPMGs for UK, the MEC should get the MG3 as thier heavier man portable MG.

Gyberg, the MEC marksman weapon is indeed set to be the G3SG/1 for designated marksmen.

No thankyou, i like the G3 for MEC its an incredible rifle if used correctly at the right range.
The M16 has its advantages as does the AK101 but used in combination with the AK101 the G3 is a damn killer.

M16 needs to stay with the USMC to maintain its uniqueness. If you only like firing the M16 in-game or cant use the other rifles. Practice, or switch teams.

nex to fastrope threads, the MEC should get a new gun threads a new sickness or ?
