I was driven around Al Basrah in a Humvee yesterday because the driver never slowed to let me out. I tried typing to him but I think a "Stop the vehicle" kind of command would work better.

"Cease fire", "Murphy!", "Blue on Blue!" kind of thing would be very helpful as well.

Great idea, i would have to say that the distance that the order can be heard should be limited so its not told to the whole map when you only want to tell your driver/squad

yes it is a great idea, maybe if possible it could only be heard by your squad or when in a vehical.

have to agree with you, a "STOP" command would be indeed very helpfull
a friendly fire warning would be nice to, seeing as the current one ("Cease fire!") only pops up once you´ve already been hit ^^

I really miss the bfv and 42 style of radio, it was much more detailed.

but we have options. All our options require some coding AND new voice actors for every army (which we might actually be able to do out of PR, i think the brit voices were basically volunteered).

We have the q menu and the t menu. is it possible to add another button to make another comm rose show up? like 'y'?

and hopefully we could someday animate these things like they were animated in 42, where when you say stop, you actually raise your hand ,and when you say negative you do a thumbs down and what not.

So true. It used to actually be really helpful and once you had all the messages memorized, communication was so easy... too bad DICE/EA dumbed it down and it takes even longer now because it utilizes both hands instead of just the left.

The squad specifics tacts can be excused with VOIP, but things like "cease fire" can't.

Yeah, GTFO would be nice too...

How bout a cover me command?

I can think of a whole list of comma rose commands and phrases that would be useful. Thing is though, it would be easy to get some American & British voice actors, but I can imagine it would be difficult to find Chinese and Arabic speaking players.
