after i installed the reality mod i realised why i put BF2 back on my PC .

this is what i always wanted i love it and i love all these new maps .

only problem is the choice of weapons .

i know you dont want lots of new guns to shoot with but i am getting a little bit bore of using the m16 ore en field only .

i know when you press T you can have a sniper ore a m60 but they most of the time given to other players .

anyway i am not complaining because this mod is amazing ....still i like to see a few different flavours that's all .

Well, since it's a realism mod, I cannot say that I'm surprised that you're not offered a wide array of weapons in the way that vBF2 did through its unlockables. The primary weapon of the USMC is the M16, so you're not gonna see them running around with G36's or AK-47's.

BTW, it's an M249, not a 60

Yeah, alot of people find the choise of assault rifle or assault rifle annoying. However, thats how it is largely in real life. Everyone gets the same thing for most jobs.

You have to look into the subtle differences between each kit. You have to specialise. Or you get fed up.

For a bit of variety, try urban maps where you can get a shotgun for the engy, or play as SF and get a carbine. Also, if you can get them the limited kits are very different in many ways. And on big servers on maps like muttrah city people are usually too busy in a firefight or trying to get the pilot, sniper or marksman kits for them to even bother with the support ones. And big machineguns are alot of fun!

Oh yeah, the new Yoda class to compliment the ninjas that were supposed to be introduced in .5 but missed the release.

Just got to make sure you vary the servers and maps you play on to ensure that you get to fight all the armies that are available, and of course don't always ensure you are USMC!

Well, this game is based on military research on based on basic military knowledge, M60 is used now more from the Navy SEALs.

No one forces you to use the rifles, who told you can't use pistol or even knife?

Instead of seeing using the M-16 so much as a bore, see it as a way to master a weapon. Sorry this is a reality mod, and that's how it is in real life. If you are bored with your gun, pick up an enemies kit =D

well i think that there arent many armies that denies taking your own rifle with you if you are going in war. from that point would be nice to see more weapons. but im happy with current weapons. and they are usualy "new" in every release because changes made in to them

ofcourse somekind unlock system would be nice in some point in future when everything else is perfect.

of course its a reality mod and you guys are right about the weapons .

anyway without this mod i would never have reinstalled BF2 .

Finally the fun begins without every 2 sec artillery on your *** ore a chopper above you fore 10 min .

And yeah even though soldiers CAN bring their own weapons, many don't because if you do it becomes government property.
