And it`s so f***ing annoying...
I played on a 64 slot server, and after half an hour I knew why PR is better.
It`s not only that PR offers a much more tactical and realistic gameplay. Everyone knows it.
But what is much more important:
Vanilla players simply suck.
I don`t know how often I yelled for transport and a humvee with only a driver in it passed by me. I can not count how often I requested Arti or vehicledrop and the commander placed arti somewhere else.
I have been revived so often under enemy fire so I was killed again instantly.
Most vanilla players are so dumb...

If I could delete vanilla and continue playing PR, I`d delete it NOW!

So 2 points:
Devs, you did a good job...really good.
But more Important: The PR Community simply rocks!

We're more family than community, that's why this game is amazing.

Have not played vanilla since .4 came out.

I don't play vanilla anymore. It feels too much like a retard asylum.

I swear if I ever play vanilla again and someone takes off without me in a humvee and I know 100% that he saw me? Hes going to get a rocket up his f**king ***.

Have not touched vanilla since I discovered PR in Sept 06. Dont miss it, dont want it.

And if the Humvee's full? And if someone requested an artillery barrage first?

I'm sorry, I agree PR is better, but no game is about gimmegimmegimmeallthoseassetsbish. If everyone got everything they wanted we'd have Havoc helicopters packed with 31 gunners and 31 simulatenous artillery barrages all over the map, and on different servers, and in BF:V, and in BF1942.

On the other hand, I do agree about the revive die revive die revive die two-points-each-time-for-both-parties ****. That's just plain annoying.

If you die and wait for the sniper kit to dissapear which is about the time for you to spawn I'll be at the base with my finger on the button T.

When I'm too drunk for PR I will go play for 20-30 min till i pass out and Topf is right, they just suck.
On the other hand, I played as commander a couple of weeks ago and had 2 out 3 squads talking on VIOP, great coordination and 4 winning rounds where we simply wiped the floor with the enemy.
I mentioned PR a few time, maybe...25 per round.
OT.. but last night on EJOD I was killed carrying the M14, respawned and made it back to my kit to pick it up,..... how is that possible ?

I downloaded project reality last week and I seriously doubt I will ever be able to go back to the original battlefield 2. Project Reality is everything I wished battlefield 2 was, I'm so happy

The UAV has always bothered me with vBF2. The UAV seems like a cheat to me, and I always feel, well, slimy when I see all the red dots on it. Now with BF2142, when you are in a squad with all the unlocks, you can basically see where all the enemys are, UAV or not.

PR is just great. I also have run into many, many great people playing it, because of the extensive use of VOIP.

Last time I played Van, somone TKed me for a plane, so I spent the rest of the round placing C4 on the runway and waiting for him to take off! I think I got banned or kicked ... but it was fun ruining a moron's day.
