Clans, players and more...

Hi.

I've been playing PR for months ago and want to show my impressions:

1) This is one of the most professional team of modders/devs i've see. I've played many mods and the way they manage the mod is awesome, not only reading our cryings (but im waiting for a response from a PM :S), the also mantains a logical way of upgrading and many others things we dont see in others mods.

2) One of the most mature community we can found. Not depending age and mostly helps who need or show the tricks of PR.

3) A very good mod, good base and done with the community.

I'm not trying to do a "how good are they" post so here are my "not so good" impressions:

1) If you have a clan tag in your name dont think you are above all the other players that are playing to you. Yesterday I get a sniper kit and get hurt by a enemy, so i ask for a medic. I wait 30 seconds dying with a know member of a know clan (very know member and clan playing in their own server) running 3 meters next to me. I get  when I die and the medic go next to my body and take sniper kit... he was waiting for me to die to get the kit. THANK YOU MAN. You know who you are... Why medics dont do they work??? Why the number of medics decrease so much since 0.5???

2) There are 3 types of playes in PM. 90% are mature players that do what is supossed to do (as good as the can). 10% are new players that try to do they best but like PR is hard to learn at first get bored and try to ruin anyone game and the other 10% are retarded that get amusement trying to ruin everyones game without trying to learn how to play. This is only "semi-not-so-good" because in others mods the 90% team goes down to 60-50%.

Sorry by my english... :P

Hate you :P ... only joking...

I know everyones wants sniper kit, and try to get it before the others is part of the game, but be a medic and wait while you team member is dying only to get the kit... go to the base and get yours like i got mine...

This is not a way of TK???

Dont headshots mean yuo cant be revived? someone help me on that one please?

So maybe this guy couldnt get to you so took your kit. Dont be quick to judge.

Yes... im sure... 18 second is enougth time to revive someone... I was on top of a building, get shoted and fall to street, 1 meter from wall and pretty easy to heal me. Im not quick to judge, there was 3 medics in their clan squad, 2 of then was next to me when dying and noone revive me. This is usual and i dont get very agry by this, but dying and ask 2 times for medic without response and when the count reach 0 (1 second after that) he takes my kit... what do you want I think???.

That lightning symbol that goes on the 3d map and minimap doesn't stay for long enough, that's what i noticed. That's why there's less revives, medics simply don't notice that a man has gone down. That's why it's important to have a squad medic and to stick togethor, so that when a man goes down he simply knows it.

Of course, the best thing is to not get shot in the first place. ;)

If you were shot and fell from the building top, I dont think you could be revived.
Some deaths are impossible to change: head shots, exploded vehicles, bombs, falls from tall buildings, massive bodily damage.

Yes... like i said before i undestand i call for a medic and not get one... but i speak about the number of medics in teams, yesterday in other round i ask for a medic and in a team of 27 only 2 medics, and not in a noobs server...
Scottyboy wrote: what I was trying to say was there are instances when it is impossible for a medic to revive you. And this may have been one of them. Sometimes your body is simply not there. Like I said. If some other member can clarify the circumstances. Im sure a head shot renders you immediately dead without revive opportunity?

So a medic could be on top of you but impossible for them to revive you. Just trying to evaluate that possibility. Not every kill can be saved by a medic is what im trying to say!
Yes, i know... like you said a headshot can be revived, and sometimes your body gets a position that is not posible to revive... not the case, yesterday was easy to revive me... very easy... we haven't enemy fire nor other problem to revive me...

The Original post is another reason why mathematics is important.

Maybe i get wrong, but when you can get revived when in screen you dont see you are dead (sorry, my BF2 is in spanish so... hope you understand what can i say). Fase 1 harmed, fase 2 dead... if you are in fase 1 you allways can be revived, no???

Anyway... how can he know he can't revive me if he never try???
