A bit far out - but are there plans for the inclusion of artillery systems?

This thought came to me whilst looking on the media page and seeing the AS90 model.

I don't want a release date but I would like to know what the plans are concerning the fielding of the weapon in game...will it replace Commander arty or will it be an additional function.

Also - how will it work ...1942/DC style? - Bearing in mind a lot of DC maps are CQ and some involve long distances but contain strong Built Up Areas.

And the final issue..base rape measures.

As much as I'd love to see it, I could very easily live without it.

I would love to see something like Chain of Command: Unified Artillery from OFP, might need to simplify somewhat to fit for PR's game style.

But anyway still back to the topic after that

Probably will do mortars before player controlled arty. Most arty systems would never be found within the battlefield sizes modelled in PR / BF2.

seconded.

Ah well, I shall survive. Just don't make a mortar as bad as Allied I's. It wasn't really bad accuracy wise or damage wise it just looked...really boring, even when firing it.
