Give Insurgent Binocs

Was just thinking about this, and it would be really helpful to give insurgents the binoculars so that when they place IEDs, they can get far away and use them to watch for enemies coming like in real life.

At least one class has binocs (RPG) and I think that's enough... improves teamplay and is more realistic imho.

I think that the Insurgent class or the Mechanic class should have binocs, that would make for deadlier IEDs

Yea, give the binocs to a player who doesn't even utilize them and has no need to. You don't need them when you have an RPG to pull out which is also why the Insurgent should have one. When you are playing an IED, you shouldn't have to get close to tell when they are about to run over it, but use your binoculars and then switch.

Let's pretend you play in a VoIP - Teamwork squad. Then you have at least one RPG, which can tell you when to detonate the IED.

Yeah, and the pigs are flying beautifully in the sky. The insurgents aren't much about Teamwork... They're the only faction where lone-wolfing is acceptable

Bah - true jihadies don't go far away and detonate IED's like cowards. True jihadies are right there to dance around the wreckage and throw molotov's at the wreckage the instant it explodes.

True to that hehehe. I normally spawn as a Mechanic, put 3 IED's on a dirtbike and take off ready to blow up as soon as I hit a Tank/APC/Crowded Area. I even have a "Move to position 2" bound to my mouse's 4th button for quicker explosions

Exactly. And you can detonate it far away and still move up on it and then dance when you are done.
