Last night on Muttrah on TG There was one point where we were near hotel and I made an error of judgement. I was taking fire from a squad NE of the hotel and forgot to check ID before returning fire.

To the three guys I killed, apologised to and subsequently revived - I'm sorry.

I Think it's generally accepted to return fire even if it's FF you're taking.

Thanks for the vote of confidence, but a screw-up is a screw-up and deserves an apology. I'd have done it in the TG forums, but none of the squad were members (IIRC).

I've played with you Red and I know that you were prob gutted by tking someone..you're a good player and it happens to the best of us so dont worry bout it. You revived them as well so no harm done!

I don't think apologies are nescessary if you revive them. Especailly if they were firing on you, you wouldn't beleive how many times I've tked someone because they fired at me for some reason.

So, let's open a thread in main forum for every TK we made and beg on our knees for mercy!!
A little exaggerated for me.

Yeah, you dont need to take one accidnetal TK incident to the forums, lol. You could of just typed in-game "oh, sorry guys, I was taking fire from your direction so I returned"

You're right. Maybe I over-reacted. I *know* this isn't real life. Real life is getting up at 0600 every morning to earn money to feed my wife and kids. The fact remains though that I was disappointed with myself and wanted to apologise.

A very valid point is brought up though. I shouldn't bring it to the forums as it looks quite immature and attention-seeking. Am I allowed to say sorry for saying sorry?

When something fires at me I put it down....some times I just cant stop the killing.

Though most of the time teammates are safe from my return fire due to lack of aim
happens though, a sorry is usually enough to make up for it...a revive and a sorry most often seems to get a "Thank you"

I get what he is saying. I tked 3 times last night... in one round. Mind you I don't usually rack that up in a weeks worth of playing. Through the gunner scope of the Cobra sometimes US troops look like those damn spec op insurgants. Most other insurgants have a distinctly dark coloring to them. I know I got Wasteland once.

I'm glad you were 2 out of my 3 then. Both times I saw insurgants in the area and assumed you were an insurgants spec ops. Thats okay I killed 116 people. I think that made up for the tks.
