I would like to know if anyone has created maps specifically for clan training purposes. If so, may we use them? Links appreciated.
Thanks, Lt. Bellino |3-5|

Awesome idea....but wouldn't it be best to train on existing maps? That way you're familiar with terrain, location of enemy vehicles/hideouts, etc.....

Any screens yet Maistros? And hows your "submarine" base map is progressing?

No screens yet, but I'll post up soon. Coronado is coming along well, but I'm breaking the work down between both to get them done in a timely fashion.

would it be [kinda] like a map where you have soldiers stand out in the field [unarmed, like the fun little bug in Multiplayer where a NPC stands in the field] and you just shoot em... like a firing range... then a test track for cars.... and mabye an obsticle course??
just wondering

It is modeled after the Naval Special Warfare Group One's Desert Combat Training Course.. with a few added things to facilitate diversity.
It's a scale 4 map, which means it is about twice the size of Al-Basrah.
It has a tactical airfield, with helicopters and jets. It has a vehicle test range for tanks and apcs.. it has a "constructed city" for CQB and movement tactics, sniper training.. shooting ranges (with range markers)
minigun ranges for blackhawk training.. demolitions stations for bridge demo training..
and a lot of custom signs that help explain tactics and such.
please feel free to give me suggestions or things you would like to see.. referance pictures are greatly encouraged.

That sounds exactly like what I was was looking for Maistro. Especially the siper ranges part. Also it sounds like you could have a whole clan on the map, each training in different areas with out interference.
Any idea of a completion percentage?
Good playing with you too, IronTaxi.

A map being 2 times the size of Albasarth??? OMG THAT WILL BE HUGE!!!!!
just wondering.... but will it be all flat land??? or bumpy???
and how will you get around... i would think having spawn points at each Training Facility...
and will the shooting range be SOMTHING like this... [this is from AMERICAS ARMY]
http://www.americasarmy.com/gallery/scr ... M5_800.jpg
and for Airfield training, will it be one where you can bomb practice targets?? or will it just be the Takeoff & Landing part of it??
just wondering
god i cant WAIT for that map...

- All air based training courses have destructible ground targets for practice.
- The shooting range is something like that, except it is set in a desert and not a woodland area.
- Spawn points will be at each training facility's start point.
- There will be many signs and billboards with diagrams and instructions to aid in the completion of the courses.

Yes, each required kit bag will be at the starting station.
