Help your medics...

Scenario: You have foolishy allowed yourself to be brutally gunned down and can feel your life slipping away, but wait! A courageous medic has Matrixed his way to your twitching body and given you a jolt of life-enriching electricity. Leaping to your feet, you follow your saviour behind a building and dive to the ground while he bandages you up.

You sir, are an egregious twat.

When being healed up, crouch or stand. Let the medic go prone, then should an enemy come charging round the corner, you can pop a cap in his arse without having to send it through the medic first.

It is the little things that matter my friends....

Roger that. Had a couple of guys not in my squad cover me while I healed them on Al Basrah last night.
I was making my way back to my squad & came across 2 unfortunate Spec Ops lads that had been "brutally gunned down" while on active service ( :) ) and I thought "OK, I'll revive you seeing as you're there": these 2 did the right thing by covering approaches while I healed them.
Dunno who you were but well done.

ALSO, if your medic dies trying to save you and you live through the ordeal, PLEASE grab his kit (using the "G" button to pick it up) and revive him as he has done numerous times to you!!!!

Thank you.

And if you've got some ammo bags, chuck 'em down after the revive. It's sods law that I've just used my last charge on you.

Yep. Unless he had to do an en masse revive and left you bleeding for a bit, and now you're shrooming. Then go ahead and go prone until you get your vision back. You're no good to anybody.

i hate it when people i'm trying to heal go running out into the oppen, i don't want to have to chase them.

I delete Flame Bait, it's tradition.

Yeah, I seriously hate when I revive a player, and he/she just runs off. It's okay to run to safety, and then get treated, but running off is just totally unacceptable.

RESPECT THE CORPSMEN!

The thing I hate most is when I AM the guy that runs into the open. Sometimes upon revival you are disoriented and just run into the open rather then for cover. I hate when that happens!

One of the most annoying scenarios is this....

I'm with a tight squad, and see an SL critically wounded. Often if I'm in a really tight squad and we're all moving, I won't stop to revive blues. But it's different with an SL. So I revive. Then I start trying to heal him (we're in cover and the fighting has moved on), and he sprints off. I'm not his *****, so I don't follow him. I reattatch to my squad. Then after a few seconds when he starts shrooming, he starts running around spamming medic requests, followed eventually by "f*cking medics! DO YOUR JOB!"

I know there's no such thing as a justifiable TK, but still.........

A fragging would seem to be the order of the day for that type of SL:

STICK WITH YOUR SQUAD!!

Spot on... the little things.
Thanks for an amazingly simple but logical tip. Consider me taught...

yeah, ive had problems with medics taking out their own packs after i revive them too. that is the wrong thing to do. i revived you, ill heal you. if an enemy comes around the corner and opens up on us, you will have just enough time to open fire and die. I will have just enough time to pull out my gun and open fire on the guy that just killed you. after hes dead, ill revive you again. dont worry. just keep your gun out and your pants on.

I play corpsman or medic about 75% of the time. I find that I have loyalty to my squad without really realizing it. When I see that green writing I just automatically see it as priority. I do think that a medic in a squad should prioritize who they heal/revive though. For one thing, every squad devoted to infantry combat really should have 2 medics AT LEAST pending its full. Also, in my opinion it kind of deters "lonewolfism". I won't heal you if youre in a squad but are running around alone farming points, not if my green comrade beside you is bleeding....

when I rez a medic, I move on and rez/heal someone else or stick with my squad, cause medics can heal themselves, cause if i take the time to heal a medic, i have a run back to the squad.

agreed. Nothign more frustrating than healing a guy who thinks he should stare right at you while and enemy rounds the corner and pops you both

....as he runs full pelt away from you while you beg him piteously to stop your bleeding... but no... he has simply revived you and forgotten you or wants to watch you die a slow agonising death... your vision blurs... you start to cough... death is not swift to come... you start to wander around in circles bumping into things... mercifully an enemy bullet puts you out of your misery....
