Has anyone else seen NPCs standing around with their arms akimbo in random places all over Al Basrah? I sometimes see as many as 5. They have no markings above their head, you cannot spot them, they do not show up on the map, and they are immune to gunfire. They turn their heads in your direction, blink, and move around if you push them. The only way I have been able to harm them is when I put a(n) IED/C-4/SLAM underneath them. Is this just some wierd glitch, or are they supposed to be there, and if so, for what purpose?

I highly doubt that the developing team would use such a cheap way to import NPCs in to the game. Prolly a bug etc. etc.

So has nobody else ever run into these things? AeuioHiudsItmustbeaConspiracyiluezstg.

i think its a server bug

Yeah, i used them as places for IEDs, as I noticed APCs would try to run over them XD

Yes I see them. You can kill them with any high-powered weapon like nades, RPG, shotguns to the head etc. It's like a TK, without the -pts.

Great, now not only will new players think this is a bug, they will think this is a bug involving exploding people.

These are surrnered insurgents, they have given up their arms are are awaiting to be arrested! arrest them by pressing your E key.

hehhehe no not really its just a bug, but sometimes it looks very cool when they are coughing on the floor for a long time

I saw earlier today an insurgent get killed on the main raod between the VCP's and his body never went away. It wasn't like the Zombie guys who are sometimes halfway in the ground, he was laying there where his body landed and just never went away. funny.

He sinned and Allah refuses to take him to the 72 virgins.

What you guys didn't know the insurgeants like to practice yoga in their spare time?

in .4 I revived a teammate and he turned into one of these things...I guess its the same as the no kit bug in vBF2 but Id never seen that one before....

The animation for when they run looks really really funny.

Lol, that's a hilarious pose - i've never seen that one before. I always see the cruxificion pose. But you guys should keep this bug lol, but give more poses like that shot above around areas of major firefights. Randomly posed littered bodies on the streets be awesome.
