well it says 30 secs warm up time but if your using a joystick with a throttle its a right pain to get the throttle so its exactly neutral, its always either minus a little or forward a little...
is there any solution for this?
using saitek cyborg evo if it matters.

Not really much you can do on this, except mark up on your stick somehow, exactly (or as close as poss) where nuetral is.
I haven't found this a problem, but i'm using the logitech freedom or cougar

They don't have to be warmed up, it's just the problem that it is hard to stand still when using a joystick with a throttle.
edit: Or do they? :O

Server side change log from 3/2/07: All jets now have a 30 second warm up time.
I think the question is are you responsible to keep the plane from moving during the new 30 seconds? or is the plane unable to move for the new 30 seconds and then you take control??

Yeh, jets now need to warm. But if you make a local server there is no need for warming.

Yes, jet stays completly still until warming is done and takes off.

Helos will tumble and stuff if you try to move prematurely. But jets are just basically locked in place for the first thirty seconds. This is not an issue.

I found it difficult at 1st as well, but after you use it for a while & get to know your Joystick, you'll eventually learn where neutral is, or just mark it with a sharpie or something.
