Right now if you get out of the gunner's position the ammo selection will revert back to SABOT, and most of the time I find myself using HEAT.

Is it possible to have the selection stay as what you last chose?

I think it's to avoid lone tankers.

What about when you have to lone tank as everybody else are being daft and hanging about in pilot kits etc?

i think that its a bug .

Use tank tactics and you'll be fine.
Main tactic is not to rush, but hang back a bit, AND USE THAT ZOOM!

Oh of course, I'm good with a tank IMO.

Stay away from urban areas at all costs.
