very cool. well done devs. i'm a very critical person; the last person who would come off as a fanboi but im gonna kiss some *** here. yes, there are some bugs and features not fully implemented, players should all know and accept that upfront, but this is a great first step in the right direction.

i really enjoyed playing with the new changes...this may be a "mini"mod but nothing small about the gameplay improvement. apart from the fact i played on a server full of people complaining about the lack of crosshairs and healthbar (as if the title of the mod wouldnt give them a clue? did the definition of realism change overnight? lol) I enjoyed the new feel of the game.

great job. with a start like this i think future versions must rock - no damn doubt.

cheers

Thanks! I don't see what the problem is with not having a healthbar anyway. If the first shot doesn't kill you, you can bet the next one will. Plus when you're at about 40% of your health you start 'bleeding' to death. That was the only problem I had playing, lack of medics. :D

ya i totally agree. there are so many other ways a game can indicate a players health..i would love to see non-fatal shots maybe slow down movement, leg shots or critical wounds even force you prone...and of course, PR's bleeding is a no brainer...i would think your screen going red and hearing your soldier cry "ouch" would be enough to know youre hurt but hey, thats just me...

people just resist anything new - be it an improvement or not. personally ive been waiting for a game like PR since vanilla bf42 released. youve titled your work "Project Reality"--and thats exactly what youve tried to deliver. hope your team sticks to your vision and longterm goals. and has a great time in the process.
