I would like to see the Humvee to look more realistic like this with the armor around the gunner!



Next i would like to see the more modern m4's and m16's. With the eotech sights and handrails.







And also a new m249 spw!!

What would the vertical foregrip do in-game?

The EOtech sights are mounted on the rifle, it is not part of the rifle itself.

I don't know anything about the M249 SPW.

Do you realize how much work needs to be done to do all that? It all requires remodeling all of those weapons and vehicles.

Although we are working on new models for the M-16 and M-4.

just start modeling them. and debuggin etc. then they could be in game. there are more things to do i think than make new toys for US.

Up armoured humvees: Pointed out many times, a long time ago. Currently believed to be relativly low priority compared to getting the Brits in, new features to increase realism and giving everyone thier new rifles.

M16 & M4: As Riki said, they're being worked on atm and are suspected to be introduced in 0.6, but that is unconfirmed.

M249 SPW: beh. I cant see the devs ever giving LMGs scopes, so theres little point in its addition. I'd rather have an actual L110A1 or L108A1 (rather than M249) for the Brits.

EA really made it bad for modders with BF2. IIRC in BF1942, all you had to do was edit the file in wordpad to add a scope to anything. (?)

is the EOTECH sight being fielded by all US infrantry units? i hadn't really heard of anything about it but kept seeing it in the news papers. Love the M16 with the ACOG 4x by the way, if only it was easy in Canada to get a milspec rifle...

the M249 SPW, just has a shorter barrel for close combat. No point in adding this at all.

although, i do recommend that scopes are put on the SAW, it would be more realistic and well, more attractive than what it is now. Knowone ever uses the SAW cuz of the low ammo count and that it cant shoot far. Even though in RL, the maximum effective range is 1000 meters.

Yes, I would like to see the brand new CVC carriers for the Royal Navy in-game! Some things just don't have a purpose though...

I love the SAW, its accurate while prone and helps your spuad with suppressive fire Its my second favorite gun. support does not really need a scope IMO
