Idea for insurgents

Right now anyone on the insurgent team can spawn as a war vet, I think this is unrealistic because there is not a surplus of veterans left from the gulf war. Could war vet be made into the officer kit for the insurgents and his loadout be changed? maybe somthing like this:
Knife
G3 6+1
2 frags
3 ammo bags
3 field dressings
body armor
All spawn cars would be a place where a sl could request his officer kit. This would improve game play because the ammo and field dressings would keep the squad close to the leader. The insurgents have alot of ammo problems since no one picks policeman because his shotgun is so weak. It would greatly improve the teamplay on the insurgent faction to have a squad leader who could provide the field dressing that the insurgents need so badly. He would also keep his RPG gunners supplied with rockets. this would also fix the problem of half the insurgent team going war vet for the body armor and field dressing.
Thoughts anyone?

I usually see more spec ops guys then war vets. I rarely pick war vet because I'm not a fan of the G3.

I see too many of both, i think the insurgent team should be mostly insurgent classes like doctor, insurgent, mechanic, and RPG gunner.

I like the idea, but giving the policeman a better weapon might negate the need to change it like you are suggesting. You are right about your comment on the numbers of war veterans, so I don't know about that. Just my thoughts.

I think this is good not only for the ammo, but it would also make insurgent squads stay together more instead of lone wolfing.

Hate to say this...... but that is what insurgants do. They are naturally not as organized and ranked as regular forces. Which is why they are not given rally points and a commander. You win by shear numbers and overwhelming chaos. That is the way of the insurgant.

Then why not just eliminate insurgent squads altogether!<-(sarcasm) I think the insurgents need teamwork encouraged just like every other faction :-P

You can't make them exactly like every other faction. The other factions are organized modern armies. That is what makes insurgants fun, they are different. I mean really, how organized is a bunch of guys in the neighborhood "defending" their home turf gonna be?

True enough, but i think they could handle staying in groups of six and having a leader for this group. I think not having rally points or a commander is already enough "non-organization" to make them like real insurgents.

yeah the way I see it untrained people are more prone to staying close together due to fear etc etc. People tend to group up when they are scared.

You can have an insurgant squad leader. Your just not able to place rally points.

nobody here say add rallypoints , they only say "give him a oficer kit" , that os a good idea IMHO .

and i want to know why insurgets are unrevibable and the other faction no?

What is the point of having an officer kit without the rally point? lol Isn't being a squad leader and having your teamates spawn on you enough?

Insurgants can't be revived, but to make up for that they are given very short respawn times. Again, Insurgants are fun to play because there set up gives you a whole different set of challenges that you have to make up for. You beat teams by using your shear numbers and unorthodox weapons to create chaos. I love playing them as a change of pace. I wouldn't want Insurgants to have all the same features as the regular armies.

often , the leader of groups get better things , a insurgent "oficer" can have a g3 with optics or more frags , maybe AT frag , who know?

make insurgetns revivable (only for 5 sec) would stop those flying bodys that happend when you kill a isurgent .

I think what would make an insurgent officer usefull is that he could supply his squad with field dressings and ammo. and this would partly solve the problem of most of th insurgent team going spec ops or war vet. think it makes sense that the vets of the gulf war would be leading the insurgents nowadays.
Another idea: why not make two officer kits for the insurgents? one would be foreign spec ops, with ammo bags and a ugl(foreigners are supplying insurgents with ammo and weapon irl), and the other would be war vet, with a scoped g3 and five field dressings?

In my opinion, i think that the Specail forces kit should either lose its GP-30 or just go completely. Perhaps a stripped down version of the MEC spec force would do better. It is the most overplayed and powerd class the insurgents have.

The war vet is a nice and fairley realistic idea its just that it is an overplayed kit and makes the rounds USMC Vs. MEC. Perhaps removal of the granades( i dont know who the hell keeps a couple of frags on their mantle piece) and perhaps a more obsolite weapon or just reduce the ammo drasticly to about 1+3 clips
(i also dont know who serves(ed) in a military keeps their own mountain of ammo that wouldnt be allowed by the military to just be taken with them)

Spec force:
Knife
HK SMG(1+4)
SOFLAM
1x grey smoke granade

War vet:
Knife
G3(1+3)
1x frag
field dressing
Heavy armour

...mongol...

lol I'm certain that the Iraq army was not so strict on who took what and what went where. Especially since most took off and ran, plus they got crushed. Why wouldn't there be a surplus of their equipment that just got misplaced? lol
