Hey guys
I'm TRYING to model a mall with gmax. And I have some questions about the interior. I need to know what I have to model. Stairs? Handrails? Benches?
I don't want to show pictures, because 1. It's really really WIP and 2. Becuas design can still change.
I don't promis that you'll ever get a model

I guess you need to model the stairs/crates/benches in it because all the indoor statics are alway the same

but aren't benches already contained in BF2? so a mapper could place the static and but some benches in it?

I'm not a mapper/modeler but look at all the building taht you can enter, they alway have the same benches, tables and crates in them, if they were not on the building itself the mappers would probably make all of them different...

to make somethign different you have to remodel and reskin or at least reskin it. A mapper can't do that with BFEditer alon afaik.

just make the standard shell, there are loads of static objects in BF2Editor that mappers can put in like benches, crates, tables, fountains and suchlike,
and if youre more interested in desging buildings you should hook yourself up with google sketchup 6 !ITS FREE!

thx for info! Gmax is also free. And this building is just my first step. My goal is to succesfully model "usable" models like weapons and vehicles.
