Objective based maps?

I have been with the PR community for a loooong time (let's just say that when I started I had friends) and I remember those objective night maps back in 0.322.
Y'know, the ones where the Americans had to destroy the UAV and command trailers to win.
I am pretty sure that it was suggested back then that the same game type would be used in new maps that had other objectives to destroy (bridges, ammo dumps, etc...).
What ever happened to that? Is it hardcoded? Because it seems to me that all you have to do is put the objective script used in previous maps into a new model.
If this does work it would be AWESOME!
Imagine Ghost Train (best map ever, thanks Rhino!*) where the British have to destroy the bridge. It would rock so much.
So I emplore you devs, if it is possible,to make objective maps for 0.6, please?

We almost got scenario working for 0.5, but some issues and lack of time made the team postpone this new gamemode.
But this is good news, because MasterTom is working in Scenario v2 that will be much more complete and easy to configure.

Operation Ghost Train was a map designed by Rhino specially for the Scenario game mode.
I know the basic objectives were for the british to destroy the tanks in the train and the bridge.
Don't know about other maps... give ideas...

ye the main thing ghost train was for was scenario
just think about trying to get onto that death drap while there are chinkeys shooting at you from both ends of the bridge while you try and place your C4

ahhh.... The magic Saxon of indefeatable armor would come to the rescue!
I actually once blew the bridge by rocketing a car sat right on top of the weak bit! It was awesome!

if the enemy is smart they will lay mines at the foot of the bridge and also have AT guys ready

Ok some ideas for Objective Scenarios (i dont know how the Scenario will work)
Airport:
British have to destroy the MeC planes, they only respaw on the air and cant place Rally points, mec only got the main base respaw no flags, the whole battle should be about the Planes and defending
Muttrah:
USMC respaw on the top of docks with parachutes (like Airport map)
Theyr Objective is to destroy all the AA guns on that map
They cant set rally points also, mec can only respaw on construction
Hills Of Hamyong:
British have to fight theyr way to the Artilhary and destroy it
They dont have Rally points
China keeps theyr respaw like it is now on AAS, but once a Respaw is destroyed it will never spawn again, so british must first destroy the 3 rally points(radio dugout, central defence, south) and then destroy the artilhari
China can respaw on Bunker after the first 3 rally points are destroyed
Jabal: The map would be just the carrier and the Dam, for few players
Some Target at Dam, US needs to destroy something there
Mec respaws at the lower part of the dam, US should land some Little birds on the top of it
The target should be located on the middle part of the dam
Falujah:
Only the Outpost Flag
US start at the small vilage/oasis, and need to destroy the artilhari of the outpost
Mec Spaws on 2 rally points(inside the Outposts houses) and can also come from Canyon static respaw(simulating reinforces)
OGT: British starts on theyr mainbase, China got one rally point on each flag, british cannot set rally points, they need to destroy the train, and the best way to do this is destroying hte china rally points first, traveling from flag to flag destroying RP's by foot, could also make the Bridge another Objective
Just some ideas =)

Objective/Scenario may be my favorite gamemode. Remove all the flags to prevent newbies from getting confused!

Gosh... I'm running out of maps....
um... Street where the insurgents have to destroy an embassy type building at the other end of the map.
Mao valley: USMC spawn at the top of the map and have to trash the artillery at fortress, chinese spawn at that bit to the right
Al Basrah: USMC have to destroy the tanks at industry (they can be used by the insurgents though if possible) and/or the palace. Airstrike methinks.

Helmland- GB spawn at crash site and defend the aircraft holding important documents from an onslaught of insurgents. The insurgents must blow up the aircraft (aircraft is unaffected by RPG fire or limited RPG kits around map)
OGT- GB must destroy the armour convoy sitting on the Train, then retreat and cut off the reinforcements by destroying the bridge. China has to defend Train and protect their tanks from being disabled.
Al Basrah- USMC/GB are on a mission to settle the resistance in Basrah. They must destroy the ammo dumps scattered around the city. (Insurgents get no ticket bleed or loss by death. Only way to reduce tickets is to destroy ammo caches.)
Al Fallujah Region- USMC forces are moving along the Al Fallujah Region to destroy the Canyon Wall cutting their forces in half. The US's goal is to blow the wall and link up with the Mech. infintry (LAVs) on the other side. Once they link up, the group moves towards the main objective. USMC must blow the Bunker Facility. (I think the best way to do this is to have 2 spawns, some USMC spawn at Mosque and at Road. This will aid them in destroying the wall. 2 LAV APCs will spawn at the Road and will also head to the Canyon. A kit will spawn at Road along with APCs; call it Demo Expert. In order to win the round, the USMC must escort the Demo Expert to the Bunker Facility. MEC spawns are Canyon and Bunker.)
Some reasonable scenarios on certain maps. One question though; Is it possable to have a sequence in destroying objects. (EX. OBJECTIVE 1 MUST BE DESTROYED BEFORE OBJECTIVE 2 CAN BE HIT.)

OK. I'm sure you guys will make the mode awesome. I'd like "Hold this cap for X minutes" so the entire enemy army is assaulting your position.

you are so right jedi, some of the [PR] tournament lads, were saying just the same thing on teamspeak the other day.
