Holy **** is this fun. I played this for the first time last night, and even with only like 20 people on the server it ruled. Jihad cars flying at our convoy, IED's forcing us to change up our plan...I cant imagine how crazy it is with 64 people.

I will talk to compu about possibly adding a extraction maybe once every 3 rounds?

Sounds good, I'd really like to play extraction; especially on Al Basrah.

we have a server running just extraction maps. come and join even if no one is on. our clan is always online and if we see a person in our server well hop in with him.

@fox: how about, because its so short, and regular rounds so long, can we have it every second round. As in a filler between 2 rounds. 2 full rounds dont do it justice. also would get less USMC switchers.

I like the idea of a little extraction thrown in the mix. sounds really fun. Just find some way of telling all the people on the server that it has switched game mode in big letters so they know whats going on.

P.S. desertfox, why less slots on your devfile server now? albasrah needs as many people as it can get.

I played it once and drove the VIP car. Rockets were flying around my truck and dudes were laying down all sorts of .50 suppressive fire. It's pretty intense. Definitely a good time.

Or the times when you'd briefly stop in the city to dismount the APC and clear an area....then a suicide car comes barrelling down the road and everyone starts lighting it up...WOW

It is evident alot of people dont know how xtract works, probly because they have never played it. I fully support servers putting up alternate game modes. The R-DEV coders did make them for a reason!......theyre fun to play111

i would love to play extraction mode, i've never been able to play it but the videos of it playing on the PR main menu looks so awesome...

Yes they are! Al Basrah extract with 40-64 people. My dream map!

the issue with extraction is that its very "noob unfriendly"

if one smacktard takes the SUV and goes off without a convoy/idea of what hes doing, he ruined the game for the whole team almost

i think if a server like the albaseah 24/7 that is a fairly popular server starts running a a few ext rounds in between AAS rounds (lets say, 2 gos for each team at insurgents) people will learn how to play it, and it will be played as it should
