Greetings again PR community!

The first training days went prety well so I've decided to expand this training and open it up for all players. This will be on alot larger scale than the last training and Im going to need some help

Basically the first training sessions were me with 5 individuals, showing them how to get a good squad and show them some of the basics. Now that thats been done, I would like to invite the following Squad Leaders to help train more players!

The following Squad Leaders have already participated in training and I am asking if they would like to participate as a training instructor:

As well, any other squad leader that did not participate in the previous training but would like to help out with this one, please send me a PM and we can discuss getting you scheduled on one of the dates as a training instructor.



So anyways, what does this mean for you, the average PR player who wants to increase their knowledge of military tactics and get better at PR? well here is the run down:

What exactly is the event?
Tactics and skills training for Project Reality, taught to you by hardened Squad Leaders who will show you the skills and tips you will need to survive. ANYONE can signup as a squad member, no matter the skill level. As long as you are mature and willing to learn, you will not be turned down.

When is the event?
2 days:
Thursday March 15th 1700-2000 EST (GMT -5)
Friday March 16th 1700-2000 EST (GMT -5)

Where will this happen?
War is Hell Server

What do I need to bring?
- A mature attitude
- Open mind
- Ability to follow orders
- Ability to learn from mistakes
- All players attending MUST have working BF2 voip & a mic.

Word of Warning to Smacktards
Anyone who comes to **** around, will be kicked and if persisting, banned. This event will be run under a chain of command and any fucking about by any player involved will not be tolerated. If a squad leader decides to start fucking about, his entire squad will be kicked.

Tenative Lesson Plan (each SL will do things slightly different):

- How to not die constantly.
- How to read the BF2 map.
- Squad Medic 101
- Squad Rifleman 101
- Squad AT 101
- Suppresive Fire
- Fireteams and Fire Team Leaders
- Spacing while in movement
- Fire and Movement
- Rallypoints - what they are and how to use them.
- How to defend a CP.
- How to assault a CP.
- How and when to retreat.
- How to succesfully play as an infantry squad including: Infantry formations, tactics for open terrain and FIBUA.
- How to use a jeep as a team asset. When and when not to get into a transport vehicle.


As you can see things are primarily focused on infantry, because that is what is MOST lacking in all games I have played. The infantry simply dont know what they are doing, and without infantry, your team will never win. You can have the best pilots and tankers ever, but if your infantry are garbage, you will still be doing very poorly. In the future, if things go well we could branch the training into more areas such as: Mechanized Infantry, APC support, Armor support, Close Air support, Airbourne Transport, Ground Transport, Engineer Support, etc

no scrim planned (not enough time really)

just the basics wasteland, using the basic lesson plan i have posted... can do things in any order you like and can add your own tricks and techniques as well.

if things go well and we get alot of participants and good instructors, we can continue expanding this idea with training exercises involving multiple squads coordinating together and having a commander help coordinate. it all depends on you, the squad leader, to make this happen.
