hi im new to pr iv installed pr but i dont think its working as it should it just looks like old bf2 too me could someone please help

its meant to double click on the project reality shortcut (dog tags) then load it as usual just click a server

if you can't bunnyhop, don't know where the fuck you are, don't get into tanks, helos, planes and apc's then you know ur in pr for the first time (unless you've read the wiki of course )

ye basicly when you install PR it installs it along side bf2 (so you can still play bf2, or as we call it, vinnila bf2 / vbf2) and you get two shortcuts on your desktop, the ones that say PR on them and have the dogtags icon is PR, and the BF2 with the BF2 icon is BF2, just dobble click the one you want to launch

yer i clicked on the pr link on my desktop but it loads up normal bf2 how gay

it looks quite the same unless you join a server. the vids are different of course.

The load screen is much different - mine starts off with the logo then a bullet hole through the middle of the screen...

game play is just the same as bf2 all guns and vehicles are the same im uninstalling pr and then going to reinstall just to make sure

hehe.... ouch.... yeah reinstalling sounds reasonable... and remember to check the path for the desktopicon....

game loads then i select a server after this it switches to desktop then come back and loads the map but iv got a funny feeling that its dropping the pr and just loading up normal bf2

look in the properties of the shortcut. There should be something with "
"bf2/mods/pr".

did you crack something? isnt necesary

no crack installed bf2 then update and then pr

did you check "same mod" on the server filtro ?

target "C:\Program Files\EA GAMES\Battlefield 2\BF2.exe" +modPath mods/pr +menu 1 +fullscreen 1

start in = "C:\Program Files\EA GAMES\Battlefield 2"

alot of PR's content is bf2 stock content, but the gameplay mechanics have been drastically reworked. While there are many new vehicles, guns, and statics, there are alot of the good ole' bf2 models. There is less of a focus on SWEET NEW TOYZ as in mods like PoE, but after you spend some time with the game, you will realise that PR is more different than BF2 than PoE, or any other mod for that matter, could ever be.
