Combat stress and aiming (and some other wish list items)

There has always been a lack of realism to games one that I'd like to see addressed. Not the Black Hawks or unrealistic weapons balance, but that of the lack of human fear/andrenalin reaction in the game. As the adrenalin meter goes up the aim gets worse. Higher adrenaline could also cause the recharge rate of the stamina meter to go up.

I would like to see a switch to a floating aim point, very few games have ever done this, instead of the cone spread we have now. Good tactics along with a good sense of timing would be needed to manage the aim point as it bounces around during combat. Needless to say running, jumping, crawling, and diving should make it swing very far back and forth (as in 4-5 inches on the screen). It a pipe dream to get them to switch, but all these would work for the spread cones we have now.

Supressive fire
Explosions
Jumping and diving should be treated like sprinting (as in no shooting)
Fatigued (out of stamina)
Enemy commander function called rally that reduces the aim of all hostiles in an area. (Propaganda tower new commander toy)
Lower rank
Non-favored weapon


New things that improve aim

Rested (full stamina)
Aiming (not doing anything for at least 5-10 seconds)
Having teammates nearby
Being within 50 meters of a squad objective
New commander function called Rally an area affect that improves all friendies aim in the area. (Propaganda tower new commander toy)
Higher rank
Heroism kit medals, affect the various kits
Favored weapon (which ever is the most played weapon by stats)
Special forces kit, support kit, assault kit






Of course what would a suggestion post be without more suggestions!

Get rid of the nick name as the account name for loggon. Have an account identity for loggon and nick names seperate. Let the user change the nickname at will. Tired of never getting to use the nicks I've had for the last 10 years without doing the **** variations. And please start using account cancelation as a behavior modifier for cheaters and lamers.

A clean scope function for snipers that extends their vision range by 50 meters. Make it take 10 seconds to implement and last until they reload their clip or stand up.

More cover! Roads should have ditches along them. Engineers should be able to build foxholes or concrete road divider barriers. Or at least have predetermined areas that can be improved/destroyed.

Ammo for the vehicles machine guns only partially unlimited. Use the same method that is used for the reload of AA and anti-vehicle positions.

Anti-vehicle devices that disable friendlies rather than destroy. Since people can't seem to drive around friendly mines. Have vehicles fade away rather than explode when disabled, such as dumping them in the lake or abandoned on the side of the road.

Change the max cap rates for various vehicles/soldier, if any players beyond the max ammount want to contribute to the cap, they'll need to get out of the vehicle.

For example
Infantry 1
Jeep 2 (req 2 ppl on board for max rate)
Tank 2 (req 2 ppl on board for max rate)
Helicopter 2 (req 3 ppl on board manning guns for max rate)
Gunship 2 (req 2 ppl on board for max rate)

Get rid of the red zones of maps, objectives keep things tight, unless you plan on adding in some beach assaults!

Make the aircraft out of aluminum instead of steel. Bullets should penatrate easily, but not necessarily do lots of damage to the vehicle, but the crew and passengers should be a different story.

Cut the jump height in half. Add in an auto scramble function for any object up to 5 feet. For objects from 5-10 feet have a climb function (jump while standing next to item).

Bullet marks in the glass of vehicles, to allow for some sort of disabling.

Snipers immune to global scan and UAV detection when stationary. They should become 50% transparent when prone/stationary, until they fire/move. Should take at least 10 seconds to kick in.

Varying weather conditions sand storms, rain, fog, clear days.

Day/night cycle

A sorting out of the various bullet penatration issues. Same caliber types should work consistently with all similar materials.

Points for blowing stuff up as SF, but only if item is a fresh one from map start or not repaired by friendly.

Trees and other light obstacles that can't stop tanks. Just let them roll through them much like the small shrubs and such. Telephone poles are a different matter.

IR vision for heavy vehicles/aircraft.

Swim underwater.

I think every idea in there has been mentioned in this forum somewhere or another.

All except the 'adrenaline' idea, as this is not possible to mod in. An AA stlye CEM would be really nice, but its simply not possible to have it so when a bullet is near you, your aim becomes worse. at least i don't think so.
