Hi

I i start to say that this may be hard to add to the game but give it a thought and maybe it can be possible.

We already have the statssytem i havent figured out how it workes but i dont care about that to mutch what i do care about though is the pilots hwo just installed the mod and when they died in the airasset 5 times becaus they dont have the pilotkit and spammed the chat 20 times how to get the freaking kit they are happy and get into the cool littlebird with those nasty M134s just to tip it over when they try to rush up in the air. I have seen this all to many times or when the A-10 pilots dosent have the patience to let the enginse start and stand there on the runway firing the vulcancannon and jumping out looks at the plane for few sek and try to figure out what the freaking problem is with it and mounting it again and do the same procedure again.

Now to the question how to prevent this and my sugestion is training, to get acces to the pilot kits and some other kits aswell you need to show that you can handle the hardware and you show this in some kind of test that uploads to the stats and then you can request the kits on the servers using this system, this is made in americas army and i dont know if its possible in PRM but if it is I would be a realy happy pilot.

I don't think the Ranking system is any good, becuase its so easy to gain ranks in this mod.

(High scores, where everyone has scores above 100, even 350, on one round, instead of 50 like on BF2v.)

If this can be changed and allow only veteran players actually use the hardware responsibly, it would be much better.

I don't play much on ranked servers, havn't accually looked at the BFHQ, if that is where I look for ABR ranks.

@veneratio

AHHHHHHHHH! Grammer!

well i dont think the players that have high scores get the ability to fly, what i mean is that you do a test that shows you can fly and if you pass the test you earn your wings and may request the pilotkit and if you dont have the wings you wont get any pilotkit.

Dont know if this is possible or if the devs want to do a thing like this but thats up to them to answere.

My first language isn't English and I am able to use punctuation and paragraphs :p

Great idea, I would love if you had to get some training in the training map Maistros is working on before you could actually fly or operate a tank.

I think it'd be possible at least to install something with the mod that checks players names against a database that lists everyone who's taken the PR wiki quiz, with questions like "How do you request kits" and "what is the warmup time on a helicopter" etc.

Too many server side issues to implement this, is my guess (not all servers being ranked, or set to have a connection that magic database). Love the idea though.

the pr team has thought of moving over to the ABR ranking system i think, and the owner changing it so that ranks are given.

look it up on the recomendation thread.

I like that suggestion! But in my eyes the players should not only be able to grab a pilot-kit, they even shouldn't be able to enter a plane or tank at all!

Some ppl even don't read the messages - so preventing them from entering a vehicle should be the better solution. It takes some time to realize that they won't be able to operate a vehicle with the QM-system. Those who know about the preferences have to sit and wait or have a tea until those who don't know about kits realize what they're doing = preventing a vehicle from its duty...

Training-sessions will be fine! Since not all of the players like to read the manual before playing. I know that this is not the best way to start playing a game, so much work were put into! But people stay people...
