You start a thread, and then deny me acess
to answer it. Thank You...

I never said anything insulting to anyone in any of
my few most here. can we please keep on topic.

I had to make another account in order
to post a reply to a question in my first post.
Because someone keeps blocking my acess
to answer any questions....
sorry for the muliple accounts.

Why PR? because it's new.

How can you make PR better at being Non Hack friendly?

every Tv Screen in the Game, like attack chopper gunner
you need a special aim-bot to hack it. So More Tv Screens.

You Need to say good bye to PB, and make your own
anti-cheat software. but a Vector based system.
ie. if you shot a target and hit the bullseye 5 times
in th same spot, (+/- what ever variance) in 1 second it would raise a red flag.
because this is impossible.
PB trys to detect software that can be hidden on the
client side of the game. Really need some thing in game
not on the outside like PB is.

The people that make the games (DICE) need to
make them so people can't hack them, or make a
game that has all the stuff a haker would have
in game...

I agree with you that some threads on these forums are closed for no reason at all. The MOD takes it personal or something and just locks it - pointless really.

They do a very good job tho, sometimes its just a bit far :D , however I don't know what post your on about

OK, That My Opinion Over, back on topic

I don't agree with saying 'bye bye to PB' as coding a new 'security' system would take a lot of time would it not?

This could well turn into a pointless thread lol...how contradicting am I :p

I dunno what / where your original thread went .. but if you seriously think that a group of mod developers have the time, source code access, money and infrastructure to develop better anti cheat software than Punkbuster then you are out to lunch.

EA left BF2 to rot on the vine a bit, but I think then realised that hacking / cheating in it had gotten out of hand. My guess is they put some pressure or sent some money to Punkbuster and as a result some recent updates to PB's ability to detect hacks have resulted in a much more effective anti cheating mechanism.

We'll continue to rely on Punkbuster for anti cheating mechanisms.

And they'll hack those just like everything else, meaning anti-hack software will take even longer to develop to catch each of them.

It happens all the time. Anyone with full auto that fires at anything close range would be banned for hacking, or do you account for the distance to the target? Gotta believe something like that would slow down the server something terrible.

EA doesn't give a care about this. All they care about is selling millions of copies, rehashing it a few times to maximize profit, then moving on.

They did. It's called BF2; satellite scan, uav, and commander.

I don't think they'll ever get rid of hacking. Whenever there is a mechanical or electrical method of procedures, there is someone who will can manipulate those methods to their advantage.

Sorry, but basically this is a complaint thread and technically re-opening a locked thread. This one gets locked too :)
