Stealing enemy kits.

I think it shouldn't be possible as they wouldn't know how to use it.
Especially an insurgent, who just picked up a m95 and uses it like he has for years.

well, you pull the trigger and it shots - doesnt it?
though i see your point, at least the accuracy should be reduced, but imo, this is a minor issue

I doubt an insurgent could reload a M16 in less than 5 seconds the first time he tries.
So kits should be just like the vehicles.

Is it even possible to "lock" enemy pick up kits?

I don't see any reason to fix it . It is a common , that insurgents use US trophy weapons and US uses insurgent's AK-47 & AKM's for clearing buildings and CQB . I've seen vids with US troops carrying PKM's , SVD's etc . Same with insurgents , they are armed with any weapon they can find ...

Yeah, Im sure it is possible to keep enemy from picking up a kit, but probably not worth it b/c it doesn't happen that often.

Would be awesome to see the insurgents not be able to pick up US/British kits. Also, im pretty sure its un-realistic to see a USMC soldier pick up a FULL insurgent thing and run around with a molatov, C4, AK47 so is it possible to make it just main gun?

When I'm ins. I normally pick up the first US/UK kit I get across.

If you fix this then what about the riflemen kit then? I see no realism in which a family sized cheerios box ammo bag can give ammunition as big as sa-7 stingers.

theyre insurgents, not retards. Most of them have weapons training, and im sure some of that is with a m16. Contrary to popular belief, there are M16s in the hands of people other than US Millitary members.
I could see them not being able to use something like a SMAW, but any USMC in pr who is dumb enough to let his SMAW get taken by insurgents deserves it

dont think its possible to stop picking up enemy kits in the bf2 engine, or to pick up certain bits, like the AK with the molotov's etc....

Well I'm actually surprised no one around here said anything about the realism involved in a medical specialist picking up a sniper/marksman kit and using it like it's original user; or any class picking up something like an engineer kit and suddenly learning how to repair vehicles and bridges for example...
EDIT: I'm not saying I'm all for it, but I don't think anyone could talk about the realism in picking up enemy kits w/o saying anything about this.

When you are insurgent and you pick up a enemy medic kit, can you not use the revive pads? I've tried and they don't seem to work. Is that because the insurgents wouldn't know how to use them?

Probably because more often than not an insurgent is KILLED rather than critically wounded.

yeah i dont think this should be taken out. its added incentive for snipers to relocate after shooting. if everyone knows where you are... good luck keeping that kit of yours.
