Insurgent Win Music

Hi All,

I'm brand-new to the forums, but I've been playing PR for a week and man it's great! I haven't played a mod this good since Desert Combat for 1942 - and I dare say that this one is even more fun!

Great job Devs, cheers!

So, I have totally got the insurgent win music caught in my head - you know, the russian chorus chanting that rousing little number with the military drums in the background ending with a crescendo into a heroic cadence.

I was wondering, does anyone have a way to post an MP3 of said music - I think it would make a great ring tone!

If not, how might I go about extracting this music when I get home?

Thanks again devs for the awesome mod, and thanks to anyone that can help me get this music into MP3 format

:)

Such good music!

I figure it's ok that it's russian(ish) music, since all the insurgent weapons are russian anyway.

I just pretend that the music came from some CD the insurgents found in a weapons crate.

"Hey, Bahir. What music we play now that we win?"
"How about music I find in weapon crate?"
"Ok! We can drink the Vodka we find in BRDM too!"

At the end of the round when I hear that glorious music I usually jump from my chair and fire my AK into the ceiling, I hit the boiler last night and now I can't have a hot shower. :(

Playing on insurgents inspires me to win just so I can listen to that music at the end of the round.

The insurgent win music should be changed to this:

http://youtube.com/watch?v=-bAN7Ts0xBo

It should also replace the spawn car music.

Go to folder where your BF2 is installed, in Battlefield 2\mods\pr folder you will find common_client zip archive.
Make a copy of this archive at some other place (desktop ex.) and unpack it.
There you will find all sounds but they are in ogg file format, so you need some ogg to mp3 file converter. Download some good little freeware software converter (I have one called just "ogg to mp3) and enjoy.

I've made whole PR theme for Sony Ericsson K750i, and if anyone want it I can post it somewhere.

By the way, they sing something like "Botoms up,we win" with very strong accent. Its not chechen accent, maybe all EA devellopers chorus read translittered text/
I dont understand what they sing when loose - though Russian my native language.

Anyone remember that Barrah Barrah song on one of the earlier versions of PR?
