Is there actually any difference between the m4 and c8 SFW?

Just be looking over the SAS and SBS information available and they both use the c8 SFW not the m4. Was curious why.

It is slightly different. Different rail, longer/heavier barrel, different stock. I think it is slightly more reliable.

The question is, why would they use the M4 instead of the C8?

I mean both, I can't find any actual information on the differences.. sounds to me like it just packs a bit more of a punch and is slightly more accurate, whilst retaining the advantages of being a carbine. In-game I haven't noticed any differences between the Brit spec op kit and the USMC spec op kit.

The barrel is heavier than the m4's and lined with chrome to aid in both durability and accuracy. (I've fired both and would definitely take the C8..and not just because I'm a Canuck :p )

I was making an allusion to the pronunciation of their NAMES, not the weapon's firing sound. How more obvious can I make this?
