why are there so few extraction servers?
I saw one last night and joined it. there were only four players which made it even more suspenseful. 2 insurgents vs. 2 british (map was street) one great thing I found about it was both sides were extremely entertaining to play. the insurgents had to be extremely effective at scouting and relaying info to the squad leader, and the british had to move to the crash undetected. when we started a map vote for al basrah, about 15 players joined and the server was even more fun.

the thing about extraction is it brings out so many more team players than conquest. there's more communication and a sense of urgency, as far as realism goes it is as close as you can get in a game mode. I just wish there were more extraction servers, it's the best game mode I've ever played.

You know, a full server doing extraction on Al Basrah is so much fun you can't imagine.

I was with a friend, we had a car, I was driving around with my friend with RPG out of the sunroof, we were parked hidden, watched a humvee go by, followed by an APC, then the VIP suv. Was absolutely hilarious driving after it and hitting it with a rocket, Ronin style, while trying to not die from the humvees, choppers and the APC.

Blocking off bridges is and waiting with RPGs is just so much fun.

Conversely, driving through the checkpoint with RPGs flying everywhere and doing evasive maneuvering is just so much fun.

Extract is the BEST!!!!!
Sadly the server filter starts off set to show conquest only. Many people do not bother to change the filter and look for somthing new.

Especially since that vip car can move like a bat out of hell.

As stated in some previous thread, 10th Community will open 54 Slots Xtraction Only server for Europian people this weekend. Stay tuned "nubcakes" as Demio says

The rest of you, get a "local" server, it is 5:40 AM here in Scandinavia (Northern Europe) and I am playing in the server located USA - East Coast. Ping is 170 but not experiencing visual lag.

iGi Have Al Basra Ext in our US server Cycle and "Helmond Prov" Ext and "Raid on Moist Mount" Ext on the Brit Server Cycle ....All ways Great fun

extraction is so fun.. but yeah I've noticed only 2 or 4 players ever on.. I liked when devfile would do 2 / 2 of conquest / xtract. but they are all conquest now.. which I still don't mind lots would leave when it turned to xtract and I'd forget we were doing conquest and be waiting at NVCP for the VIP to drive through like an idiot

You know, I know a route with the VIP car in Basrah that always gets the win, without ANY help whatsoever. Personally, I'd give the insurgents more cars and let them block off the first few bridges out of palace. Or else its just not fair.

It US doesn't win on VIP its cause their driver sucked. Simple as that.

You just have had sorry *** opponents, one squad full of clanmates in TS2 at the checkpoint and you aint gonna get nowhere without support. Stop the egoboost mate

Not an ego boost, its the truth. The VIP should have to rely on the team more.

I shouldn't be able to win just based on good driving alone.

yeah, has to be a bad team, i've driven the whole map by myself also, but the server didn't have enough players :-/ on a full server it would be a lot harder..
