M95 advice

This thing seems to perform a bit dodgy with me. Sometimes on a stationary target I'll aim directly on him and no hit, so I aim JUST above him, still no hit, then I aim say a few mm above him on screen, STILL no hit.

If it was a moving target then fair enough but it's the fact it happens with still ones and not even from that great a distance. :|

i dont know if this will help but i hold down the mouse button a little longer, which may or may not provide a better shot?

We all know the M-95 aimcode only triggers for a [R-DEV] [R-PUB] etc.. tag :)

There is bullet drop in this mod.

In other words, if you're shooting at somebody really far away, you need to aim up a bit.

Read my original post.

Deviation might have just made you miss the first two, and the 3rd shot was simply too high to begin with.

If you are already laying prone and zoomed in for a few seconds, it'll increase your accuracy.

Were you an insurgent?

I like it when people who have less then 10 posts point out the obvious lol.

I feel the same way about this, try holding still longer, I also have trouble hitting prone targets for some reason. I don't get to use this that often anymore since everyone knows where it is =(

DirtyHarry, the M95 has some pretty unreal velocity. Maybe try going for the top of the head, and not above?

I tried that too, pretty much everything to account for any sort of drop. Maybe server was just a bit laggy, I'll try staying still for longer.

Bloody hell, if it wasn't me on Airport 2 nights ago, MEC and sniping from a HUGE distance. I learned the "bullet drop" theory there and then. Ended up getting headshots from up to 5-600 metres, it was bloody awesome until some twat ended up TK'ing me for that rifle.

Don't know how this relates to M95, but anyway. Sometimes sniping just kicks butt.

Aim for the 6 marker at anything above 60 meters. At 80 meters, aim for the 8. I can hit a guy through the slots of a guardrail on a bridge from the entire view distance away if I have a specops guy giving me range.

That high above at such a short range?

dont forget you was on Devfile and you are from UK?
I seen you complaining about it last night on the server, I tried M95 myself and it was a bit off. I just aim at upper torso and try and maximise the area my bullet will hit due to latency. Good thing to do is wait until the enemy thinks they are safe and crouch/prone into position and stay still for a while, then latency wont matter so much :p
Just keep plugging away on Devfile, dont worry about it, on a Euro server you will probably rock with the M95. :)

(edit) and it is not just the M95 lol http://media.putfile.com/3stabs

*sigh*
M95 = one shot kill. Aim for center mass hit not head shot.

If you can't hit a target with the m95, you fail as sniping and please stop.

Despite noting my previous points that should have definitely equalled a kill.
