Militia faction topic. Speculation and what we know.

"Assault on Mestia will introduce the Militia faction to Project Reality.
British troops acting under the order of NATO have been ordered to destroy a weapons processing facility controlled by a former Russian militant faction. The British have intercepted radio transmission indicating several Anti-Air guns scattered throughout the hilly terrain, therefore no British air support is available. These Militants have a very violent history, and have built several fortifications into the hills, they will fight hard to keep the British off the ridge."
- Russian influenced
- Chechen based?
- Probably spawn similar to Insurgents
- AK-47 oriented?

Funny, i was just going to post this same topic
Are they gonna use the spetz models from SF?
AK-47 or 101 as the main rifle? (Not sure if 101 is realistic, but could add to the mix of weapons)

about the "insurgent type spawning system": i think that would be too little of a surprise. something tells me that the new spawning system will be fully displayed in the militia class. not necessarily rally points, but i think that the militia is where we will be most surprised by the new spawn system.

A mix of an army and the insurgents possibly?
limited kits, maybe a sort of an officer class, etc. Just not so much as the "big" armies

Militia shouldn't have spawn car type spawns or no shock paddles because they are more teamwork oriented and they do not use the suicide tactics as much as the insurgents would.
Think the Chechen takeover of the Russian school and how the Russian military had to step in. Here, they should be able to protect some objective such as a weapon cache, but still be able to be revived.

Ah you beat me to it the militia sounds odd for the reasons above who the hell are they gonna fight if there are no russians, iv'e seen that the models are from sf im not liking the loosk of it atm. I think more of a somalia militia would be better.

Yea, I kind of area. Would personally rather see China on that map by the layout and have them in some kind of scenerio mode, but I guess we will have to see.

im thinking sf rebel forces too.
would be interesting but they should have spawn huts or something, similar to the destroyable buildings that would have to be taken out but could take a lot more punishment....
otherwise i cant see rally points working or cars or conventional rally points.
maybe a random spawn? ie. it would stick you where ever the hell the game wants to put you? /apart from if you spawn on a sl...
they shoudl have medics but maybe an injection instead of paddles?
