Need help with installing PR

Hey, i have installed the .exe of Pr and when i try to run the game it says shaders/staticMesh.fx not found!!! do_check_your working directory and sync your shaders folder. I have no idea what this means, i have been into all the shaders folders i can find in my bf2 file and staticmesh.fx is in most of them. Help would be greaty appreciated i really would like to be able to play this game.
Also, i have recently tried to play other mods ahas come up.

uninstall
take BF2 DVD out of the drive and wipe it clean (having a dirty DVD causes crappy installs)
install BF2
install any expansion packs, Special forces etc
patch BF2 to 1.41
install PR 0.5 client
in that order.

If it's coming up on other mods as well, that means that its something related ti vBF2. If you fiddled around with it you might have deleted something important. Best bet would be to reinstall BF2.

hey there and welcome to the forums!
have you installed both the newest version of the BF2 patch (1.41) and the newest PR version (0.5)?
My guess is that you are running a older version of BF2 and its using it to crash.

aha! im running an old version of bf2 because i just got back to it, am installing 1.41 now! thankyou!
