Is thier any way to make ships that we can use in battles and move like in Battlefield 1942?

But you are right, nowdays the ships with their huge cannons can hit other ships dozen of kilometers away.

Is there any way to do it? Yes.
Are we going to? No. On the scales possible in battlefield 2 it's just not realistic to. And most likely not fun either.

ya the range is a problem but you always can just make it shorter. And it would open up new sea maps to be created. Maybe someone could make the US NAVYS landing craft and put on Gulf of Oman WAC and test it and see how it works but its just an idea

I think we need new boats, not huge ships like Destroyers or crusers or cariers, i think we need small gun boats and landing craft. right we basically only have is the 1 boat for all sides, i think we need more of a variety.

Hovercraft for an amphibious landing assault. 8-)

Well huge ships will not fit in so small maps but we defenetly need something bit bigger than those RIB's we currently have.
Some patroll boats etc.

not to my knowlage, they use other landing crafts i thinks, they have little mini hovercrafts thou

but EA took that LCAC out cos of bugs with the engine etc, is why even if we did make one we could not use it...

An LCAC wouldn't be too hard to do just make it where it can only hold 8 ppl. Should be possible. Make the small ones.

I'd like to see static destroyers or cruisers (like the American support carrier), and use them as artillery like the land based howitzers. I always thought it was odd the USMC would land troops without sea based fire support.
