Put range marker on binoculars?

I would really like it if binoculars could tell you the range of what you are pointing at, this would work great for spotters that are teamed up with a sniper. Instead of just telling the sniper the whereabouts of the guy, he could also say the EXACT range to the target.
Just a side note, I'm kinda new with sniping in this mod and I would like to know if anyone made a thread on exactly how much higher you need to aim at for different ranges with the sniper rifle due to bulletdrop?

From the guide:
The SOFLAM is a laser rangefinding and designating unit intended for use by special operations forces
If you have a spec ops guy as a spotter, then you can get the distance. Also, I can't exactly remember, but I think the sniper scopes have range markings on them.

Ive used the M24 sniper rifle on Ejod, and they dont have range markers. I had to shoot a bullet and look where it landed, then estimate, how high above the target I have to aim to kill it.

Range markers are fun.

Not sure how realistic they are on regular binoculars, but they're cool and useful.

You have to have a spec ops or squad leader with you to spot. (They DO have range finders) I belive this is to encourage you to use teamwork and realistic tactics instead of just lonewolfing like all the noob snipers in vBF2 do.

Agreed. And please let them stay available only for spec ops and squad leaders.
I like the regular binoculars btw, I don't think there's any need to change this. Plus, I don't think in real life 'everybody' carries a "super binocular" with him..
