Hi Guys - anyone remember Quickmatch on the original Battlefield? If so, does anyone know of a similar 'quick launch' for BF" / PR?

No, I don't remember that. What is it?

He's talking about the +playnow 1 thingy.
I think the general consensus on that was it took longer to find a good server that way than it does to just use the browser in the first place.

Cheers guys - I suppose it only really vanilla BF that takes an age to load, so maybe not worth it for PR?...

Any time i tried hitting the quick launc "Play now" button it CTD on me.

Needless to say it didnt take long for me to realise not to touch it

me too, which sucks because if i hit Disconnect twice i tend to hit "play now" by accident. and I have to restart the game.

Play Now takes forever to load, and then once it gets to the menu, it takes like 5 minutes just to locate a server, wich will more than likely suck balls.

i hate that auto play thing personally, it always dumps me into an empty server that takes an age to get out of.
