just would like to know before i go on a downloading rampage and maxing out my limit, will i have to spare 2gb or will it only be around 250mb?

I dont think theres been an incremental PR patch ever.

Just save 2 gigs every month and you should be fine.

no incremental. we'll look at that for a future release, but incrementals also are a whole other element to be tested.

by like .9 a patch alone will be 2G

crazy. I remember installing games on 1.44MB floppy diskettes, and having a whole stack of them

Some poeple have to share bandwidth with other people in the household. Be it roomies or family members.

And some people dont always have access to highspeed, and in my case, I have to go several months without it during the summer months. While a 56k connection means that I cannot play MP, SP maps and local servers for later versions let me practice new features and have fun with them, which can pass the time when Im not at work. With my download manager, a 250mb or so file is managable on a slow connection, but something of upwards of a gig, like the size of PR, would take days on end. So to answer your question, yes, I would be impatient about the download size and wait, but only in that time frame

yeah that would suck waiting two weeks for PR to download itching every day knowing that its gonna be good

I think its much safer for the devs to release a full download rather than small patches...just look at the problems many had with vBF2 incrementals!

A few hours? If you d/l as torrent its a matter of minutes. Think I had 0.5 down in 30-40 min.

Well that one's easily solved. If you download by Torrent, set the up- and downstream to a maximum kbps. And if you use a download manager, do the same thing. For all I care use 'download accelerator', but instead of accelerate, deccellerate .
