i have been playing this mod for a while now guys scince about 0.2 and its just now that ive registered on the forums but anyway.

I fly Transport its fun. some people get in my bird and expect me to know where they want to go. well i dont sorry.

next time you get in the bird

passenger: Charlie 5 please
Pilot: "Roger That"

and if your flying with an ace like me ;) then i will get you there in a "jiffy"

so dont just get in and make us ask you where were going because its hard to type and fly. and if your pilot does happen to crash and he has been flying perfectly for the past few minutes its probly lag or just bad luck, so tell him good job.

P.S. when he drops you off say thanks

Thanks...

As a pilot, I have a few different ways i do things... if im picking up random blue guys and they dont request to go anywhere specific, Ill just drop them wherever troops are needed the most. If im picking up a squad leader and they dont tell me where to go, I ask the commander where. If im idling on a carrier deck or something Ill normally try to wait until I get a location to take off.

good plan :) im never Idol though unless im waiting for somebody on the carrier and i dont ask the commander where to if they dont tell me then im taking them where i see best fit.

thanks

I take people where they want to go, when they want to go there ;) When I ask a BH pilot and say "Take me west of facility" or something to that effect I usually get dropped off 300M east of facility :/

thats probly because some pilots fear of getting shot down thus causing them to drop there load further away from "hot" areas. if you can fly right you will be able to hit the deck for about 1 and 1/2 seconds then take off again giving the load enough time to space out from the black hawk and reject any projectiles heading for the bird

Yeah, if no one tells me where I need to go, I tend to drop my troops as close as I can actually get to the flag that needs capping without having 5 RPGs shot at me when I hit the deck. This lets me land a little longer so that I can make sure everyone gets off safely and away from my LZ. Though theres always the one who takes like 5 seconds to decide that he wants out of the chopper after it lands, and he ends up bailing out when im quickly taking off, away from enemy fire or unstable terrain, giving me the occasional TK... :-(

I still remember a while ago I was piloting a BH, and I dont know what everyone was doing, but literally no one needed/wanted a ride. I ended up being a private pilot for a sniper, dropping him off in secluded places and picking him up when he needed it. He was actually very grateful too. It was awesome

If only we had a dedicating "in vehicle" VOIP channel, so you could talk to the driver/pilot. But NOOOO, that's "Hard Coded" ;)

I like the idea of giving cood's though, thanks for the tip.

YA! Cow used his new vocab word!

I suck at flying but whenever I need a ride I always tell the pilot where I need to go.
