CQB

There is a mod out named CQB and it features, well, Close quarters Battle. It is mainly a Japanese mod and is seldom played elsewhere. My only suggestion is that you play this mod if you are a developer, modder, skinner, beer runner, coder what ever. On a small scale it can be unbeatable.

CQB can be found at their website here

Total BF2 has a write up and a Download link as well

The reason i bring this up is the PR 6v6 matches that are being planned. While CQB doesn’t have the arcade like feel of vBF2 it lacks the added touches of PR. Namely the personal weapons, hit points, stamina and things of that nature. The real nity griddy of PR so to say. Now combing PR's heart and soul and put it into CQB's body, that could be the best BF2 mod / creation ever.

While I love CQB it can be too fast at times. And the opposite can be said of PR. While I have no question which mod I'd rather play with a full server, PR with 12 people is...

well...

it sucks. ADD kicks in after about 10 mins of no action and you go find something. Happens to me every time.

If after you play CQB you do not agree with my vision of greatness than thanks for trying. But on the chance I'm not crazy and this is a good idea then I have a few questions.

How is this possible?
Heck, is it possible?

I would be willing to try it out myself is anyone could show me a path to success. Thanks for taking the time and great job again to any and all people involved with Project Reality.

If you're suggesting smaller maps for close-quarters, small unit fights, there are already subject threads on that. Please use search. :)
