hi guys. i was a long time player of bf2 and i have played bf2142 since its release up till about 4 months ago because i got sick of terrible game play. i have just found project reality today and i must say i am amazed i will be playing tonight but i just have one questions about cheating and will there be anything like punkbuster to stop this?? thank you

Punkbuster IS running on most PR servers...

It can (and did already).

Yes, we've seen several instances in these forums of hackers named and shamed by punkbuster already.

I hope all servers running PR will have punksbusted MBL stream.

What is "punksbusted MBL stream"? Is that regular punksbuster or something different? I haven't heard of it referred to as "punksbusted MBL stream".

Hah, knew I chose right, when I got BF2 instead of 2142....mainly I was convinced into BF2 over 2142 due the PR itself, but the fact that someone has given a proof, that 2142 gameplay sucks, convinced me 100% to stay with my current games, lol....I always doubted, that 2142 has good gameplay, when I saw trailers and videos of all those "toys", that do the killing for you, geez...no tactical thinking, just pure Quake 3 style gameplay...

2142 was awesome with the new Titan attack mode, but visually and environmentally the game is complete trash. It sucks to look at and has some pretty poorly created maps. The main reason I quit was b/c BF2's graphics were better, I got tired of stale, grey landscapes ALL THE TIME.

But ya, the 2142 'toys' kill erode gameplay. The weapons have also been nerf'd beyond belief. It'll take literally 15 rounds to kill someone.

I wonder if we can bring a titan assault mode to PR, like assault the carrier or something. Placing the Iron Gator carrier off the chinese shore and assault it with RIBS and LAVs

if im right most pr servers have PB, and like on devfile foxy looks at all the pb screenshots to make sure there ar eno hackers

PB by itself it does prevent cheaters but it just a tool, and they (hackers) go around it and best thing is either punksbusted.com (Too easy with cheaters but still do something) or go to the best of the best out there for anti cheat site, pbbans.com, me personally im a PB Admin, not for BF2, im a PB Admin for SoF2, that communbity will help u and guide u to have a better set server, u learn a lot, to the point that u learn that PB itself it does NOT do the trick, i have been a PB Admin for more than2 years, maybe 3, and it amazing the things cheaters do to get around but as PB it just updates and support to many games, it is not as effective as a whole community toghether to stop these lame people, MBL (Master Ban List) these its possible cuz of the community streaming their server logs and than submitting either the Screenshots or the kicks or bans from the server and getting them into one big Ban List that is enforce in all the servers that are live streaming for the moment, if one get caught in another server, it automaticly get banned in ure server too, really awesome.
