I just reinstalled bf2 after 1 year to check Dcon and PR was mentioned a lot in FH forums so i decided to dl this too...
Though i only played for 6 hours(straight) PR ,one can say i am already addicted.
Mod is superb,i mean not just the realism stuff but also the promote of teamplay is very wisely implemented with nice graphics&incredible details.Details that amazed me most ,other than realism&teamplay aspects, are: Insurgents,from their clothing to their victory song and their "APC" they are awesome,Bulletcracks ,rearview in planes-especially a-10s-i found myself watching the engines most of the time,hypnotizing and sunglasses of MECs,they really look cool.

The only thing buggered me was long engine warmup times,not because i got bored, but baseraped a few times during this warmups or the other guy who was also waiting for the plane ran to AA and tked me.

In short great mod thank you devs.

Im on the same boat, I left Bf2 alot time ago then a friend of mine said "hey install Dcon its awesome etc."
Then I found some topics talking about PR and I downloaded the mod and played a few hours, now to resume I must thank Dcon because lead me to PR wich is the best mod ever made for BF2 .
I really love the music, the sounds, the realism, the teamplay, everything.
The only thing is I find a little excessive the bleeding thing, but I think I just need to get used.

As for the rapings, it happens in every game. If there's an admin there, give him a shout. Personally, I love the warmup time.

What's your in-game names? Just so I know who to use as cannon fodder

welcome, glad you like our work, check the player guide (link is under the banner at the top) for more info etc about the mod, how to use the limmited kit system etc if you have not already done so

I know but when you wait for 10 minutes(other guy got it first,when i got the second one he ran to AA to tk) ,finally you are in the plane ,clear of "friendlies", only to be raped 2 times on the runway was frustating a bit.

Ive given DCon a few hours gameplay recently since its release...., while a pretty good mod it seems to be a smaktard magnet and eedjit convention, shame really has lotsa potential.

I hope the PR DEVs will forgive me .., i feel all dirty and abused now.., i will over compensate for it this weekend though with lots of vodka an PR

Give it a bit of time, these types should mostly be gone by the next patch.

My nickname in game is VashWR, Im a good squadmember with loads of teamwork, also im used to play games without crosshair so im kinda skilled infrantry.
I also like to shot wildly my AK-47 as Insurgent when we won.
