ugh, just got vista... it was cool at the beginning, then i started to run into compatibility issues, got most of them sorted after a day of fiddling. I come to about 9 oclock lookiing forward to a game of pr and guess what! I was kicked from the server for having "inadequate o/s priviledges"... what does that mean? and how can i fix it!? lol

Vista has lots of permission issues.. you need to run most games with the admin user or something.. I dunno, I ain't upgrading till they fix it.

People need to SERIOUSLY stop purchasing bleeding edge software and hardware. Let someone else work the kinks out, otherwise you'll wind up frustrated as they develop 6 months worth of fixes.

It will be once certain problems are fixed.

Microsoft test it on general release. I won't be getting it until at least SP1.

After they fix the compatibility issues they are going to need to fix the performance issues. XP is faster across the board. Sadly we will all eventually need to upgrade for dx10 =[

How much does it cost?

Right click your shortcut, go to the "compatibility" tab, and chech run as admin or soemthing towards the bottom.
that should fix your problem.
