Shouldn't the Militia/Insurgents have technology (planes, tanks, weapons, etc...) from the MEC/PLA?
Option #1 for planes
MiG-21
Vietnam-area ground attack plane
Option #2 for planes
MiG-29
Q-5
Option 3 for planes
MEC/PLAAF pilots will fly airstrike operations against US/UK.
Why? Because the US/UK is against every other team.

Now all they need are airfields, fuels, munitions, spare parts, pilots, maintance crews and some miracle so that they don't get shot down by American planes and their runways and storage facilities aren't bombed.
Aside from that it is not realistic at all, do the insurgents in Iraq, lets say, have planes? If these factions wanted to give material aide they would send RPGs and AK-Ms.
In short, no, not a good idea, and this has been discussed before.

Ask yourself this:
Do you see the Insurgents flying around in MiGs in Iraq right now?
lol

The whole point of the insurgent/militia faction was to introduce asymmetrical warfare, if the get all the fancy stuff the organized armies have they kind of lose their purpose.

No, though I do think Millitia should have *some* captured US/GB/MEC(?) stuff, like bandages and or C4 perhaps...

not to mention the ability to drive a humvee, which isnt any more complicated to drive away and use than any other car with a steering wheel, shifter, and three pedals once you kill all its occupants...
After all, they are supposed to bring asymetrical warfare into the game, Think they'd care about friendly id issues so long as they can get their hands on superior equipment?

First of all , MiG-21 have never been a ground attack jet . It is 2nd generation jet-fighter .
Second - insurgents actually had airforce , atleast Afghani Taliban had MiG-23 , MiG-27, Su-22 , Su-24 and some other russian-made jets left from communist pro-USSR goverment of Afghanistan , which falled in 1992 ( might be 1990 , can't remember exactly ) . Though they were destroyed on the ground in first days of US campain in 2001 .

'[R-PUB wrote:Garabaldi']Nobody in their right mind would drive a hostile vehicle through a warzone.
You'd get your *** lit up by friendlies.
An insurgent would. They would have more too win. Hummer loaded with an VBIED pulls up too a check point. Americans think nothing of it, than BOOM!
But a USMC soldier using a Civ car would be stupid.

This might make sense, except the Taliban were not insurgents, until 2001 when their air force was destroyed and Kabul fell. Then they became insurgents.

THAT would be funny.
The most I can see in terms of air vehicles for them would be a captured civilian helicopter used exclusively for transport (no weapons). Perhaps a captured news choppers?
i was actually thinking that, could be neat.
you could always give them a 747 but id assume thats a touchy subject

Erm, they wouldnt be a bit suspicious of the lone muslim in no military gear/uniform driving a humvee (that they would probably notice they lost)

Actually the HMMWV is an automatic. Just saying that it is actually easier to drive than a HiLux technical.
I do think that at least the insurgents should get to use abandonded 4x4s. I'm sure they would use it ala car bomb to destroy a roadblock or something to that effect.
