ITS A SIGN OF THE ARMAGEDON!

But yeah, I won once on Muttrah. It was pretty intense because the ticket count ran out and we had the BH and LB circling the last flag and it was pretty awesome.

Why the heck do you have the old Hudcolors up?? I don't think anything before .5 counts :p as only after has it become seriously unbalanced. It was unbalanced before, but not so much as now and USMC won alot more before.

funny iw as playing this map on friday and thinking this is just impossible for the US, I was defending, supplying ammo for the snipers, and they just kept taking out who chopper fulls of the US as they landed...I think I got 1 kill the entire round, because I hardly saw any US at all.
I definately think something needs to be done to balance things a little more.

tbh i think the map was orignally balanced with the old m4 in mind, now that its been nerfed the map is too unbalanced.

The unbalance is that US has to go to Docks AND Hotel, in .4 they didn't have to

Yeah, mec can capture all flags exept docs, and defend only hotel. This way usmc can run on hole map and can't take even one flag before hotel ;) a bit silly :P
Plus there isn's much places to put rally point by usmc giving mec advantage on respawning on ground...

"Never seen this before!"

Yesterday on Thors playing EJOD we pushed the MEC off the map and captured all flags.

sigh such utterance make me sick bosco cause you leave out the context.
I was there and I was MEC.
as I pressed TAB that round I saw about 20-25 people playing MEC vs. 35+ Marines.
most of the MEC were low rank players. and about 20 percent of the MEC players were occupied trying to WTJ.
so yes, we lost by losing all flags. its all right if you wanna believe you achieved it by skill but dont try to fool the people here.
theres ALWAYS something wrong when 1 team gets smacked of the map.

hopefully the DEVs come up with an Auto even function that really works cause the vBF2 one only, or barely, takes care of the playercount ( though for some reason 1 team mostly can have like 3-4 players more)

I didn't switch the team, don't blame me
And don't forget, we pushed you back to the USMC main base in the round before as MEC and the teams were 30 vs 30 there.

dunno wasnt around then.
but baring in mind how the teams were made up according to the ranks I dont doubt it a second.

what disappoints me is just where this all is heading. meaning its going vanilla.
back then I used to play on the big german 64 slot servers where one team always was playing in its own league, cause it was entirely made up by officer rank players ( many even 3-4 star generals) against one with newbies up to diffrent degrees of sergeants.
the officers team would play either MEC or China and wipe the marines off the map with the wrath likening the riders of the apocalypse.. thx to J10 and the easier defence setup of the maps.
well I made it into that team, being a decent helo/jet pilot and tv missile gunner.
but I always wanted to play for the sportive challenge and not for the statswhoring. where teams are even and the fighting isnt made up till the very end where the ticket diffrence preferably only is like 10-20.

I start feeling like that style is catching up on PR with all people using ABR, moving together to form highrank teams and just mowing down newbies in a frenzy.

does no1 feel the same?

I'm playing PR about a month now. And I definitely did make the same experience. To me it's no big difference, if i'm in the highranked-uberteam or the one that gets erased from the map. It's just boring after a while.

Yesterday I was on the winning team on Thors server (on the same round on EJOD) and there was absolutley no challenge. If i remember right the MEC-Team didn't even managed to take over Gardens for one second...

PR is a lot of fun when the teams are balanced, so i hope there will be
a way to make some autobalance-device, that also takes consideration
of the ranks.

yeah lol we had 2 sqauds rushing to gardens as soon as they spawned... lol

We did EJOD twice on .:iGi:. last night: 1st time as MEC all the way down to the USMC base, then as USMC we did the same to the MEC when we were switched in round 2.
Full server: some fantastic squad play from all concerned.
A great time was had here. Thanks to all concerned for putting up with my blocked nose commanding (I hab a cold :( )

The team skills was pretty unbalanced on the server last night. Remember Rifleman we pushed them all way back pretty quickly on MAU Valley the map before. Look at the results for prior maps. I was switched to MEC at the beginning of Muttrah and knew it wasn't going to go well for us. USMC did everything right - A lot of MEC tried but it was no competition. They got in at both sides and then later in the hills behind us - we were just fodder by the end.
One MEC squad called DOCKS did exactly that - sat at docks, for almost the entire match long after being at docks was of any value.

I didn't hang around for the next map but I'm sure it went much the same way.

Was it one of the Quake's that actually balanced the teams based on players highest score to try and balance them at map changes ? I don't see it working now a days though, clan/buddies want to be on the same side/squad, once you get in a good squad you want to stick with it.

Yah, and today, 20 minutes ago, when I was palying, USMC had a squad bug and we just sat at our base watching the whole MEC divison coming upon us with tanks....if anyone wants the BFR, PM me.
