Auto Sign in time!

If you only ever use one account and you want to speed up your sign in, then simply add the following command line to your favourite PR shortcut.
You have to right click on your shortcut and then press properties and place the following command line exactly (case sensitive) in the 'target' box, remember to leave a space between the new command and the original target.
+playerName [your player name] +playerPassword [your password]
EG: "C:\Program Files\EA GAMES\Battlefield 2\BF2.exe" +modPath mods/pr +menu 1 +fullscreen 1 +playerName n00b +playerPassword n00bpassword
The only problem I can see with it so far is that the BackSandStudios gunshot appears suddenly after a period and scares the **** out of you.

I prefer having the menu so I get a choice. I have reasons for that...

You can get to the game even faster by deleting the intro movies in the PR folder somewhere...
Go Program Files\EA GAMES\Battlefield 2\mods\pr\movies
KEEP the ones that say menu.bik and menu_loggedin.bik
You can delete the other two... I just forgot the names of the intro movies so that's why I said to KEEP the remaining two because I don't know what will happen without those...

The +restart tag skips the intro movies without having to delete them.

How about this:
+joinServer and +port
If you mainly play one server create a copy of the shortcut and name it after that server. You must first put the tags above so it skips the into and automaticaly logs you in, then add these so you can click one icon and launch directly to your game.(if I'm not mistaken it reads the tags in order, so you need name and password before choosing a server. Case sensitive)
Whole thing looks like this

Of course adjusting for name, pw, server ip and port, and location of the exe....

Dont even fool around with the videos, you can probably seriously screw it up. Instead just like people have said add "+restart" to your target line.

you could try a server browser like Qtracker as well. Its got an auto login feature which takes you straight into the server loading screen when you join a game.

about that added loginto game server part,
will it 'make room for you' ie kick another player because that would suck, or would the game just not load if you were trying to get into a popular server?
