Yes... if only there was some kind of network of inter connected computers where people could put stuff for you to download free of charge.

You can't figure out FRAPS?
Press f9 to start press it again to stop
Look in c:\fraps and there's your movie.
It aint rocket science we're talking about here.

If you want to make vids FRAPS is well worth the cash, and it is dead easy to use.

You don't have to pay for FRAPS to make good videos.
Just assigne a button to recored and use Windows Movie Maker to edit it. I can make a video in five minutes.

Which program? I guess you're not talking about Fraps because of the 30 second limitation and the watermark...

I said FRAPS.
30 seconds is good enough to make short clips. The water mark is at the top and you can crop it out.
e.g.

Ooops, I though I'd cropped it. Nevermind.

Is this version pretty good or should I "obtain" a later version?

2.8.2 still has the 30 sec limit, but why would you want one long clip? how un filmy is that? its better to use shorter clips these days, in the age of fast moving, ADHD children... long shots belong in the 50's...
: )
i got my 2.8.2 for free... is that legal? if not, maybe I should do something about that... im sure the free one is more or less the same...

may i remind you lot of the rules, lets try to not give hints to where to find this stuff.
@OkitaMakoto the trial version of fraps has a 30sec limit and a watermark on the video, if you dont have either of these its the full version

For short clips in some battle scenes you want to record, fraps free is good enough. Ffr recording the whole round, you will need to buy the full version of fraps. The free version has a watermark, not too large, but noticeable. If you want to record via battlerecorder than 1st person view, get the br file and use battledirector to record the round.
