Pilot/plane ideas

Ok, in .6 the jets are to be upgraded, There should be a special comm for pilots when in a plane, when your shot down your backseat pilot should have a comm to start saying "Eject!" "Get me out!" stuff like that.

As suggest by a forum I found, planes do not explode in mid-air, or float like a leaf, they are going so fast that when they are shot they are going at great speed and gradually slow down then nose dive. Warning lights should go off the computer should start failing, the rudders begin to fail, launching system fails, and your are forced to bail out.

We also know that there are pilots that are on the ground because there are not enough planes to go around normally 2 per team. Make it like 5 or 6, less pilots on the ground, more air support (and huge dog fights 8-) .)

By all means you shouldn't always be able to eject, 2 missiles up you and your dead (1 is enough to damage the plane critically IRL). Getting shot in the cockpit, your dead. If 2 missiles hit you, you should die in the cockpit and the warning lights and everything still go off, and people see the plane crash, but no pilot to be found. The debrie when it is found should have a pilots head in it on the console, or blood splattered on the glass.

If any of these could be implemented into the game, it would be awesome.

I think 1 missile should make it so your plane loses like rudders and you have to really fight to keep it in the air. Two should kill you right away :D Thats my thought :P

More Bails in aircraft, it make extracting the pilot a mini game for Heli pilots = fun
1 missile should crit a plane, then it loses power. right now, some times a A10 would lose power then slowly land, badly. warning sounds would be good.

I think he means like in .4 when you do like "Need Ammo" it shows up on the screen.

What would be cool is to have the computer voice saying things like in real planes... like "gain altitude, gain altitude" or something like that with a robot voice, plus it wouldn't be that hard to make, just use the crappy window voice program :p

They should just rip off Lock On's F15 and Mig-29 into PR somehow. The realism would be indisputable.

Ok Fun time, IRL 1 Missile is a kill on a Aircraft, it can kill or Criticly damage so you only Need 1 Missile, and why Need a Eject Comn you should know when its time to eject yourself, The Devs should Know that we need the Russian Lady Voice for the Migs, But i bet stuff like that isnt doable due to Code and stuff.

What's bad with VOIP?

The co-pilot must be in your squad in order to be your co pilot.
If you don't have a mic, then dont fly.
You can't type and fly at the same time. (Don't gime that; "Yes you can" ****) :)

What I'd like to see is if you get shot with AA or a ships cannon around the engine the plane immediately is critically damaged, so as your accelerate keys do not work.

I also haven't seen anyone say anything about the debrie idea. Like if you are destroyed without getting shot in the cockpit, there is just a pilots body, and the head is on the main console. If your shot through the glass, the cannons are big shells, and if your hit, the inside of your head goes all over the cockpit. (Be even better for 2 seaters, the pilot gets shot and the co pilot sees the blood hit the glass of the plane.)

Yeah, even fewer ground pounders! Whee, that's just what PR needs. 16 planes in the air, 16 men on the ground.

Listen the only way your getting lots of Planes is that they Implement a Proper Airfield Attack on a larger Scale and have the Defending Team have More jets Instead of say Jeeps or something, other than that Keep Dreaming.

A robotic voice for the computer voice, when your hit it lists your damage like, "Engine left: Destroyed" or "Missile release: damaged" and even (if this is even a reality) "Critical damage taken, recommend ejection."

What would make planes twice as exciting is when your hit by a missile, like the wing or something, your wing is blown off, and you start to spin out of control.

Sorry, can't have specific hitpoints on aircraft or ground vehicles apparently. Sucks, I know.
