no name tags for friendlies?

i like the fact that PR got rid of the name tags for the enemies as i always thought it made a little too easy to locate an enemy especially when they were hiding behind something. plus its just plain more realistic. but what about friendly units, wouldnt it be more realistic if they also had theyre name tags removed? im sure there would be more instances of friendly fire but it would force you to train your eyes and think more about making those long distance shots when your not 100 percent certain whether its a friend or for

The name tags only come up when you're close up to a friendly player. For friendlies over range its a bit weird, sometimes the name tag comes up after a few seconds and other times the delay is longer. I don't know about you but I've had a few TK's before because of this delay, so IMO its probably fine as it is.

Yea, you would want to know, who you are talking/giving orders to, when hes near you....
Maybe have it, so you only see the nametags of your squad? Lone wolfs of course couldnt recognise anyone, which would cause slightly more TKs...

Well I don't have that great of graphics so everyone usually looks the same to me until you get too close for comfort :(

I think the current system is fine.

the current system is fine, it works on the basis that a soldier would be able to recognise the kit his regiment uses (and also recognise the faces of their mates and comrades)

I will like to see squad name tags removed, so it will apear when you aim to them like in CS.

So you are "for" the name tags?

the name tags really help people with shitty computers like me identify friendlies and the delay just means you have to think before shooting or check your minimap which at certain ranges is difficult
so i think they should stay

Im for keeping the name tags as they are, it shows the soldier on the battlefield being able to recognise his/her team.
