reduced recoil for 5.56 guns (semi only)

first, please read my whole post before calling down firey judment upon me.
I think all 5.56 guns should have a slight recoil reduction when firing on semi-auto. IRL, american soldiers 'double tap' enemys but in pr this is impossible, because of the high recoil of 5.56 guns on semi. The problem with this is that semi would be used as a full auto at medium ranges. one solution for this is to make the gun "go back down" after the shot. currently every time you fire, you have to re-aim your gun by dragging it down after every shot.
devs, is it possible to make 5.56 guns go back down after the first shot, but not go down all the way if you shoot too rapidly? GRAW has a dynamic recoil system that i really like. you can double tap easily enough, but the gun becomes uncontrollable when you shoot is full auto or too fast of semi.
dont get me wrong, i like the fact that the gun does not 're-aim' itsel for you when you shoot, but 5.56 guns should be able to double tap.
P.S. i think 7.62 recoil is perfect right now. I also think 5.56 full auto recoil is perfect to.

Funny, I was JUST about to post something in regards to this. Your gun doesn't go back down like it does IRL. This was one of the first things I noticed when I started playing PR. So you are constantly pushing your gun back down, even after one shot...when really it should drop back to a position realitively near its previous one if you are prone and shooting semi-auto. I've def learned to adapt to this as a second nature, but it'd be nice to see it fixed.

Its done on purpose, and i like it. I just think it should be present when shooting on semi with a 5.56 gun, but only a little, definatly less than the SVD in vbf2

Why would that be implemented on purpose? Its completely unrealistic to have recoil that "sticks". I've shot plenty of rifles/pistols from a rest/standing whatever and my site never recoils and stays up there. Normally the body has tensed its muscles at a certain position, thus the gun will return to that position, but obviously not perfectly. From a rest, most shots of .223 caliber will return almost to the same position if you are a skilled hunter.

Yeah, since when does your gun stay in mid air after you fire a shot?

here we are talking about the "Sticky" recoil. Lets stay focused soldier!

Lol I have made 3 threads about 5.56 guns recoil reduction so far. It would be very balanced to fire more shots in a row as G3 (7.62mm*51mm) does more damage per shot and I don't see big difference between in recoils.

i used the search function but couldnt find any threads about this specific topic.
i find a huge difference between 5.56 recoil and 7.62 recoil, but what i think is unrealisic is you cant double tap. irl the advantage of a 5.56 gun is quick follow up shots, in pr you have to re-aim with an m16 or sa80 after every shot.
Is a dynamic recoil system possible? if not is it possible to feduce the recoil on semi only and leave the full auto recoil the same? Can i get a dev to answer me on this?

you can double tap with the m16 just fine. Yeah the seconds shot goes a little above the 1st one, but it's nothing too serious. Never bothered me before.

Shouldn't the recoil of the M16 go backwards into the shooters shoulder instead of having the muzzle jump? Whereas with the M14's design, the muzzle does jump. I noticed that the M14 doesn't have any muzzle climb at all compared to the M16 (I also noticed the M14's selector is on auto, heh). The recoil amount of the M14 and the M16 need to be swapped, methinks.

I think the M16/L85 characteristics are fine. The M16/L85 recoils are low enough as it is, and if you make the double tap recoil any lower, there wouldn't be any more recoil.

double tap?? use the three round burst.
I can keep the rifle spot on, by moving my mouse down as I fire. I don't even know that I do it.

I know with the L85A2, that the sight picture does return to your point of aim IRL, but in PR it doesnt.

btw, just interested.
How many of you guys who seem to know everything you need about recoil have actually fired a weapon before?

M16 recoil should definitely be reduced on single shot. It's comparable to the G3 as it is now.

Ruger Mini 14 and Walther P99, and watching countless videos of various weapons.
Compare PR's M249 recoil to the real thing
