Operation Phoenix overpower

..so here is the thing
i was playing operation phoenix, being US...made a squad, went trough the corn fields..and bam..get sniped..i was asking all the time..how the heck do they see me in light brown chlotes and in high corn...next time i went to MEC and se what is the catch (NOTE:i have l33t bad computer (i am running lowest possible graphic options)), and i took marksman rifle, went on position that they had before...and i saw just ground..no corn..so i easily see crawling enemyes...
this is cool in my case(but i hate so bad graphics...)

The draw distance for grass/Corn is only like 40-50m no matter what your graphics are set at. Throw that smoke baby!

It's a great map, could do with some balancing though.

I HATE GRASS!!! You cant see out but they can see you!
like Claymores where in Vbf2, your team will get killed, but there team can pass thru, put that next to a building and a SL inside and you cant kill the SL but they can hop out the roof or windows!

yep, i always try to stay as far away from grass as i can. it is a death magnet. cant see but can be seen.

Hey neighbor, I know that this draw distance problem is a bit annoying, on Phoenix, but there is a lot of space for flanking enemy on western side of map, especially if at least one squad keeps enemy busy on eastern flank.
If you succeed to pass trough enemy lines on western side (you have cars, apc and boat), and place well placed RP, than you will simply have enemy on your plate.

you just have to rush the subburbs and train, like a big infantry rush from a C&C game.
if you dont and try to be tactful, mec ill have set up a deadly defence within a minute.
the key really though is to blow up all the flag spawns on the map no matter if they are not next on the list to hinder the mec defence.

Yep, good coordination in attack (not to go squad by squad, but all at once), kill their close spawn points at construction and this village, and almost no mec team will spawn closer then their main base. Put good rp and defend flag you captured, let other team take next etc. I saw usmc won this map few times on full 64 server. It was always good teamwork and coordination. There is not much tactic to do on this map, only few possibilities tho.
Mostly error from usmc side is that if they take flag they rush to next one without defending. Same with mec, its usually a run between suburb and train... Few times I saw usmc taking advantage, but map was over due to tickets.
So more tickets, more coordination and defending, and mec are wasted
